How is Sweden doing in terms of average Covid deaths per day? Asking for a friend.

Boris Johnson is expected to announce a national lockdown next week after his scientific advisers told him it was the only way to save Christmas.
Like it's just going to go away

Haven't looked in a week or so, but they were trending up a little, not as bad as the test of Europe though.
Sweden also changed up some things to allow for localized lockdowns

Google can tell you this pretty readily.
And - better, but not drastically different, then us (per capita).

I haven't looked in a couple of days, but last I saw they were were reporting 1 or 2 a day. On many days the total was zero. Those guys got this right and have the rest of us looking like panicked fools.

- Their 7 day average on 9/1 was 162
- Their 7 day average on 10/1 was 491
- Their 7 day average as of yesterday was 1909
I'm sure a death spike will follow but much like other countries, not nearly as many deaths as we were seeing a few months ago.

The question is how they are doing now. And without looking I can assure you that their result is drastically better than us and the rest of Europe.

These politicians think we are too stupid to read the data and see a 99.99% survival rate with average age of death being 75.

Is English your second language? How are they doing on deaths per day since you have all the figures handy? The question was deaths.

Lockdowns do nothing but delay the inevitable.
