Anyone have the back story on this?

ST. AMANT- An Ascension Parish Justice of the Peace has ignored multiple attempts to explain why he's handling cases outside of his jurisdiction.

The WBRZ Investigative Unit obtained evictions signed by JP John Hebert from 2018 until 2019. A handful of them were all done outside of his jurisdiction and are invalid. Hebert is the JP over the Third Justice Court in Ascension Parish.

Sounds like the JP had a side hustle.

This Nakamoto fella must be squeaky clean. I bet he's had some heavy hitters digging into his comings and goings.

Absolutely. Do you want someone without proper authority to claim to toss you out on your arse?

John Hebert has done evictions for me.
He's a nice dude and always did everything by the book.

He about took my front bumper off getting on the interstate at Dutchtown. I knew it was him because he lives near me and the Ch 2 car came from his direction. I took my phone out and tried to catch him. This was when there was still construction between Dutchtown and Highland. I finally quit trying to catch him when I hit 90 mph.
When I finally catch up to him near Siegen Ln (due to stopped traffic), all his windows are blackout tinted.

Sounds dangerous.

What do I know? Oh yeah, I was there.
He evicts squatters. On the occasions he has served evictions for me, he did it by the book. He didn't always rule in my favor, but even after a ruling, he would explain his reasoning and how he was correct legally, etc.
You sound like he kicked your squatting arse out of a house. Quit squatting.

Good job C-Nak. Now how bout going harass the governor about his continued lock downs and continued moving of the goal posts on reopening the state?
It’s great that you want to expose corruption, but the Capital is five minutes from your station. Take a shorter drive and go after someone that actually
Matters.
The JOP in AP? Seriously? Over evicting trespassers? You’re a fricking fraud at this point- just Like the rest of the local media.
Go report on something that actually matters.

Which illegal acts by elected officials should not be considered newsworthy?

So would you be alright with someone elected in Ascension making legal rulings on where you live?

It's only newsworthy if you don't like the politician, duh.
