How unproductive are you?

I call it "The afternoon cool down". I don't do shite unless it's a must.

I actually watch the clock until all the women leave. Then the office gets quiet and I crank shite out.
And the cranking does not include my penis.

Well, I'm replying to you on the O-T, so...
ETA--still hour, fifteen left in the day

I'm literally (purposefully) taking a 10+ minute shite while reading this thread. Once finished, I may walk over to the kitchen and snag some Halloween candy and a beverage and mosey back to my desk. That answer your question?

I just stop working every day at 2:30-3. Shut it down. Walk away. It’s over.

I'm commenting on this thread....I don't think I need to elaborate any further

I do my best work from 8:30 to 9:15.
After that it's all grabassing and harassing the staff
200mg caffiene pill at 3:30 every day.
ETA: that way I'm annoying ball of energy until 6:30.
EATA: currently in a water drinking competition with myself. I'm on liter 7 for the day

The biggest annoyance of working in an office is having to pretend like you're busy/working, when you aren't.
One of the big perks of working from home. If I'm not busy, I don't have to pretend like I am.

I deal with pressing emails in the morning while I am still in my jammies, head to the office once I'm ready, work until I'm at a stopping point/things are quiet, and roll out whenever that may be.
No longer having to find things to entertain yourself on a slow workday is life changing.

Depends on the workflow.
It's the last 5 for me - if I'm done with everything I get stuck waiting.

I use it to make a list of things I want to do the next day. I used to use it to clean my desk and need to get back into that habit.

The idea that we have to work 40 hours every week is pretty silly
Some weeks it can be a heavy week, you might work 65 hours.
And sometimes it’s slow, and you might literally only need to be present for 20 hours.
A lot of jobs are good about granting flexibility, but I think we ha e an outdated way of thinking regarding work/life balance

Na, he's talking about hitting up that women's restroom to blow it up.
