I grew up rolling blade putters, always a fan of answer 2s and Newport 2s. I recently switched to face balanced and really improved my sink rate on 7-15 footers. I have a 35” spider x but would love to get a Scotty phantom x8.
What are you rolling?

Damn that is a good looking putter. I would keep cover on that bad boy throughout round. Is is similar in shape to Newport 2?

Been rolling a SC T22 NP2. Really been enjoying it.

I don’t consider the anser and Newport as a blade. They are offset. The. 8802 and other heel shaft putters are blade. The odyssey #9 is whet I have Used the last ten years. Have been thinking of trying a mallet type sooner or later.

Scotty Futura X5r with a welded flow neck by Tom Slighter to give it a bit of toe hang

Taylormade Spider X 35"
Odyssey Metal X #9 35"
Bettinardi Studio Stock #2 35"
Odyssey Toulon Garage Las Vegas 35"
Scotty Cameron Select Fastback 2 37"
Scotty Cameron Futura 7M 37"
Odyssey Stroke Lab Black #10 35"
Odyssey Toulon San Diego 35"
And that's all within the last year. Currently playing the Spider X. Crazy thing is that I purchased every one of those putters used and resold them for more. The Bettinardi was $238 and I ended up making a $290 profit off of it

TeI3 Newport 2 was my bagged gamer from start through a little after college, in that span I've had a few notables to tinker with:
Ping Answer Scottsdale (OG)
Ping Answer JAS
Scotty Futura (aka aluminum falcon)
Scotty Red X
Scotty Red X2
Odyssey Rosie (black insert)
Scotty Newport 2 beach prototype (center shafted garbage)
Piretti Cottonwood II GSS
Scotty SSS Circle T
Odyssey RX #2
Current gamer and never leaving my bag: Odyssey White Hot Pro #3. Thx P Reed.
I am more of a tinker-er. My stroke, grip, stance, etc haven't changed since day 1 so its more plug and play to see if it works. Flow neck works better with my stroke overall, wish I knew 20 years ago.

Lol it is, but it's become a hobby and the money just goes back into my bag or greens fees.
I'm about +$600 give or take for the year. The 37" Scotty's were easy sells just by installing a $4 shaft extension & regrip

Scotty Cameron Phantom 6X STR. Did a fitting with Buddha and learned I was open at address with a cut across path. Needed an onset shaft, 33inches +1 degree loft.
