’s not like he’s in pain or cries super loud. He just kinda grunts and is wide awake like he’s fighting sleep or something. Car rides are like the only thing that chill him out
it’s because he doesn’t know how to go to sleep on his own. Look up taking Cara babies, gentle sleep training. I did this with all 3 of mine. They all slept 12 hours every night from about 3 months on.

You need to establish a good schedule. Wake up time is the same every day. Nap times are the same and a bedtime routine the same too.

We had the key fit 30 car seat that straps into stroller... no need to get in car if you can get them cozy and move them in the house... get the snap and go set if you don’t have it already

Also those Halo sleep sets help because you can’t bundle them like a nurse but swaddling is key as well

$1400 for a bassinet
Already 4 months old. He’s not gonna use it long enough before outgrowing it at 6 months. It’s only recommended 4-6 months. My child’s a toddler, and I didn’t even know babies get ear infections. That’s crazy.

WHAT?!? that’s why they check their ears anytime you go to the dr. That’s why babies get tubes.

Had to do it with my first born for several weeks because of colic. Lived in Hammond at the time and drove all over Tangipahoa, Washington, st Tammany, and south Mississippi. He’s now 20. Graduated hs with a 3.8, scored 32 on his ACT, doing very well at LSU and has aspirations to attend law school.

Even if he were just flat out dumb, it would’ve been worth it.

I remember having to wake up at all hours of the night and go for a ride for an hour so my little brother would shut up. I hated that kid for it.

Same age, at least 6 hours of solid sleep here.

I don't understand why y'all become slaves to your kids. When I was a baby, my parents fed me, changed me and then let me cry until I fell asleep. I'm fine now. At least, that's what my therapist says.

My daughter would only fall asleep in a swing with the music playing and if she woke up, would only go back to sleep swinging with music. The OPmay want a 150.00 swing before a 1400.00 bassinet

Use a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer. Not on the baby obviously. The sound works wonders getting them to sleep or to stop crying even when they are teething

Sound machine, schedule, and if your kiddo is spitting up a lot, maybe get some infant Zantac prescribed from your pediatrician.

Still on our first and he sleeps 7 to 7. I’m hearing he’s a trap baby but wish you the best.. schedules seemed to help us a bunch but I also think it’s personality, which you have no control over
