Thoughts on Euthanasia?

It’s incomprehensible to me that this is not widely supported. To tell someone they can’t make the decision to end their own life when the other option is suffering a long, painful, horrible death is disgraceful. Of course I don’t support this if someone is just mentally depressed etc., but someone facing a battle with a horrible disease should be able to make the decision to not have to go through that, at whatever point they deem correct.

It is truly abhorrent that people aren't given the right to go peacefully on their own terms when they are suffering unimaginable pain and dying a slow death.
Really is unfathomable. It's a cause everyone should get behind.
If you've ever seen family or friends suffer for months and beg for it to end, but it won't, you'd know why this is important.

I hears it’s awesome to visit this time of year and that the tourist traffic is down. But the locals can be a bit stiff.

Why not? It’s a medical condition too?
You're just being a dick, you know why it is different.
But theoretically, I support the right of all people to take their own lives. Their lives are their own.
ETA:
But for now, let's just help those who are terminal and in severe pain.

Don't judge me but I sat with my mom through hospice. She lived in Vegas, and there was a moment that I thought to myself what can I go down to the strip and buy to end this for her. It was so awful to watch someone die.

There is a difference between helping people to die comfortably and actively killing them.

I think the youth in Asia are pretty much like the youth everywhere.

Exactly.
It's horrible what people go through. There are some good documentaries on this. People with diseases or inoperable tumors. They will live months or years, but be in absolute agony. They can't function in life because the physical pain and limitations are so great.
They don't want to bankrupt their families or be miserable anymore, but we won't let them leave on their own terms.
Sad.

While I would generally agree with you for the end stage terminally ill and maybe the neurologically devastated, this is definitely one of those slippery sloppy issues. We have certainly seen how quickly things can progress with progressive agenda items over the last several years. Honestly, I am surprised we have not heard more of a push for euthanasia recently.

Absolutely.
Kavorkian only gave people the choice to do it themselves and let them do it. He got in trouble because one patient was completely incapable of movement and couldn't give themselves the lethal medicine and begged him to do it and he did.

The Euthanasia are really smart kids. They are learning advanced math and physics at like age 10

It is essentially post birth abortion. If one is legal the other should be or both should be illegal.
