Agree, we can't kill ourselves, but we can kill our babies. Crazy.

For it. We treat our pets better than we do terminally ill people.

It is essentially post birth abortion. If one is legal the other should be or both should be illegal.

What?

Babies in the womb don't have a choice. Adults with terminal illness make this choice themselves.

How in the frick is that even remotely similar?

We're a country based on Christian values. Only the Father can say when he calls us home. Choosing to end life isn't something any Christian would be in favor of. All life is valuable no matter the phase of life we are in...

No one is forcing Christians to end their lives.

You can wait in agony for your god to kill you if you want, but the non-Christians shouldn't be burdened with your belief system.

We're all God's creation. Religion has nothing to do with it.

It shouldn't be.

We have entire industries built on keeping people alive. Its big money.

Well without medical treatment, “father” would call us all home way sooner. So it’s a bullshite point.

Then hang yourself.

No one cares if that's the point. Euthanasia is just a bullshite word.

Do you see why these two sentences contradict each other?

YOU think we are all a creation of YOUR god. YOU think that YOUR god doesn't want people to end their own lives when they are dying anyway and are in inconceivable pain. That is YOUR belief system based on YOUR god and YOUR religion.

Don't push that on others. No one is make YOU or other Christians end their own lives.

People do end their own lives in miserable ways all the time. But a lot aren't capable. They don't have the motor functions to do it. They are prisoners in their bodies and in constant pain.

All I was trying to convey is that as a society, if we place no value on the life of the unborn (which starts at conception) why are we concerned about the terminally ill wanting to off themselves? You are correct- the unborn have no say in the matter.

If things were just left up to nature or “God” most of us wouldn’t be here now.

This has nothing to do with abortion. Stop trying to make it have to do with abortion. It is a moronic comparison.

All I know is if I'm ever diagnosed with lewy body dementia I'm not sticking around for the end of that. Better to go out on my own terms.
