8-2 LSU with a win over Alabama vs. 9-2 Georgia with two losses to Alabama?
Especially considering that will be Alabama's only loss of the season.

Here is what I am going with.
Granted, we should not have lost those two games. The performance was poor and is without excuse.
HOWEVER, MSU can be attributed to new players, injuries, new system - they caught us napping. Mizzou can be attributed to hurricane malaise.
We will look to put things right starting Saturday!

Okay how many games do we need to lose before we run out of these excuses to you
We lost to possibly the worst two teams on our schedule this year. We are completely out of the picture for the playoff

That is clearly in direct contradiction to the scenario I am proposing.

Then it’s really unfortunate we lost to two of the worst teams on our schedule and took away an opportunity to be in the playoffs
There’s nothing that can scrub those losses off the record
