What weird circumstances? We couldn't stop a QB that got benched then we couldn't stop a redshirt freshman in his second start without 3 of his top WRs. We played the easiest part of our schedule and got waxed.

Can you start with believing that we will win Saturday?

Or is that also too much optimism?

I mean, forget that we just had the best season in the history of college football. The truth is that was all just a mirage. Smoke and mirrors, right?

Of course we can. I felt the same way about every game this season so far.

What in the world does this have to do with this year's team?

Bama is in the playoffs every year because they are easily one of the top 4 teams every year. Last year they were left out even though they could have easily been in Oklahoma’s spot if they truly put the best 4 teams in.

We'll probably find out in a few weeks that Costello was ineligible and Mizzou had access to our headsets so we'll get those 2 games back, plus win out and end up undefeated again.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say a team has never won a national championship with losses against Mississippi State and Missouri.

If Brennan is done for the year, we are likely looking at 4-6 or 5-5 as best case scenarios. Regardless, this team will be out of playoff contention well before season’s end.

8-2 LSU would be a phenomenal achievement considering the way our defense has played and not having Brennan at QB. Stranger things have happened but winning 7 straight SEC games would be admirable. Beating Alabama this season would be AWESOME! Let's start w a good outing against USCe. Got to start somewhere. Must get our DEFENSE playing up to LSU standards. Hopefully 2 weeks of practice will help. Here's to a GREAT remainder of 2020 season. Geaux Tigers!
