Needs to get the clutch aspect.
He dropped dimes down 4 and led his team down to the 1 fricking yard line with another dime

And then his pussy football teammates couldnt run for 1 yard

He was clutch as hell on the final drive. Some of yall shouldnt be allowed to leave the house without a nurse

By that logic, you can blame the loss on Cade York
Yep, if york wasnt such a choke artist we kick a 18 yard field goal to win the game at the end

I swear our fanbase is mentally ill

You are such a damn dumbass. He isnt perfect. You are wanting him to be perfect

He was very very good. Things to work on? Sure. But nothing about yesterday or this team is about Brennans shortcomings

House if on fire. Two firefighters come to put it out

Firefighter #1

Saves three children, two dogs, and a cat. Spills some of the water from the goldfishes bowl on the way out saving it, which causes the goldfish to flounder until he can refill it

Firefghter #2

Accidentally sprays gas on the fire instead of water, drops the grandma down the stairs, leaves the family cat burning in the bathroom

LSU FANS

"WHY DID FIREFIGHTER #1 SPILL THE GOLDFISH WATER!!!!!"

Yes, yes you are. You said he needs to be clutch

He threw for 400 yards and 4 tds when he knew he basically had to score everytime, and then led his team down to the 1 down 4. That IS CLUTCH

I just checked the NCAA stats for passing efficiency.
He's No. 13 in the nation. That's impressive.

Brennan has great stats...but also lost 2 games by failing to score on last minute drives. He isn’t winning. I’d rather have worse stats and more wins.

Agreed.

But...

and only 0.4 passing TDs a game less than him last year.

Let’s not pretend this isn’t a big difference. And Brennan and Marshal have been spectacular this year all things considered. Brennan has a rough first game but still did enough to win.

Brennan isn’t to blame for the loss. But the offense has major warts.

People keep railing the defense & rightfully so. But they’ve given Brennan 9 extra possessions from turnovers.

Brennan has been inconsistent
Play calling has not been consistent
OL play could be better
Dropped passes

23% on 3rd down falls a lot on Brennan
60% passing is just ok

Splash plays are great but he’s been subpar in moving the chains consistently

Show his 3rd down padding stats. That's all that reall matters.

Defense is struggling on almost every team. I think it is on the big rule changes that have impacted defenses. Seems that the slightest touch draws a flag.

It’s not ALL that matters. Big plays on first and second are nice. Especially when you score. But it is a big issue. Going 0/10 on Saturday is really bad.

When you lose a 4 point game there are tons of individual plays/series you can point to.

True, however, the added pressure of the game being on the line isn’t there during the course of a game. When it is the final play, you either step up of you don’t.

He should have never been in that situation. This is a team game. All parts have to contribute.

With that added pressure he dropped dimes and led his team to the half yard line

If you cant run that in its on your line and RBs, not your QB
