Regarding the overall effort to somehow conclusively identify the existence of ET, as I understand it the primary concern by far is the potential breakdown of civilization once age-old religious beliefs are turned upside down and inside out by the sudden introduction of other Godlike beings. I could see folks freaking out pretty seriously on the basis of traditional religious axioms.
This existence of aliens doesnt remove or disprove the belief of a creator of the universe or intelligent design.

I'm with that all the way. I'm just afraid that for many (if not most) who are religious throughout the world, especially orthodox practitioners I'd guess, that enlightened conclusion will take a bit of doing and time to sink in and spread throughout religious circles. The average churchgoer probably hasn't ever pondered that thought.

I think it’s possible that the so called grays are actually biological drones of some sort. Many abductees say they are often with very human looking people on their ships. Now, people like Greer think many of these abductions are actually us doing it in “stagecraft”. They drug the people up so they don’t remember anything unless under regressive hypnosis. I think it was Von Braun who said on his death bed that the 4th big deception will be a false flag alien invasion. Greer believes that too. Can’t remember what the first 3 were, but they happened already.

Hmm. Yes, very interesting. That Fire in the Sky situation in Arizona in '75, I find that one pretty damn convincing and credible. That guy said they had what he believed to be a human on board with "typical" aliens. A cooperative endeavor was afoot perhaps. I can't begin to imagine what we don't know that certain people do know.

Skeptical here too. I consider myself more in the SETI camp, that if there's advanced , intelligent life out there, we'll first find out via their remains, signals, etc... of beings long since extinct.
But comments & events admitted to by the gov't in the recent couple of years, I'm wondering if our ' visitors ' aren't something else. Time , dimensional, or maybe they've learned some sort of wormhole travel tech - like The Expanse - and can come and go as they please.
The fact that our military claims they acknowledge something is out there, it's not ours, and they don't know what it is, that's near enough to make one go full Fox Mulder.

I think the Phoenix Lights event was kind of a test to see how people would react. Same thing with the Belgium Wave with the flying triangles that I 100% believe are ours.

This mindset is one of the reasons the medical profession had such a difficult time moving from bloodletting to blaming all disease on the "vapors". When you think you know everything about something, you stop looking for more.

Aliens are simply demonic beings presenting themselves as extraterrestrial. In the past, they masqueraded themselves to the ancients as mythological gods like, Thor, Zeus, Apollo, etc.
One day, maybe soon, they will present themselves to the public, where they will say they are our creators and there is no God.
Are there really only 30 people here (and presumably many more that haven't seen this comment) that are entertaining this nonsense?

but why haven’t monkeys evolved?
I'm no expert in any of this, but if I had to guess I'd chalk it up to each genus evolving at different rates and adapting to different environments. At some point in time, I assume our species was forced to abandon their physical attributes and adapt to use our brains in order to survive, while other species didn't need to.

Lol, it was interesting, but as a scientist I remain a skeptic. The distances of interstellar space are phenomenal, hard to believe technology exist to cover those distances between stars.
what makes you think "aliens" had to cover any distance at all?
..what if they were always here. (or at least before us)

Surely you must realize how psychotic this sounds
As a Christian, the Bible is filled with encounters with angels and stories of fallen angels. For someone who doesn’t believe in spiritual beings, it might sound outlandish. But to a person who believes in the supernatural, it’s not.

It’s no more nonsense than believing a man can be raised from the dead after 3 days in the grave, walk on water, cure leprosy or feed 5,000 with only a few small fish and a couple loaves of bread is it?

Give another species a 65 Million year head start and then what do you think?
You know from no life in an empty sea to organic compounds and then life to where we are now, the whole story of life on earth is spectacular. I'm sure there are others out there. By the way there has been some form of organized cellular life on earth for over three billion years. The age of man is really a blip in time.
Edit: For perspective on 65 million years of evolution, hominids have been on earth much less than that time. People like us have been on the earth for less than a million years. So how in the hell could we guaranty we can even last a million more? 65 million years is a long time for man to hang around. Many mammalian life forms from even the Pleistocene (2.5 mya) are long gone.

I feel like I've heard or read somewhere before that a disproportionate number of UFO sightings have been at or near sites with some sort of radioactive connection, past or present. Perhaps they get nervous about current the nuclear activities due to their knowledge of what mankind's used it for in past times. And they have some sort incentive to keep us from repeating it again.

Give humanity 1 million years of tech advancement, and who knows?
Why not give 'Humanity'...Infinity? Perceiving Entities that manifest via the Evolutionary Process, do so according to the relative degree re their acquisition and implementation of Knowledge, employed as Power. Knowledge ("The Word"/Truth) transforms; infinitely so.
"The kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a mustard seed; starting off a the smallest of all seeds and growing into the largest of trees (place of abode and nurture?), wherein all manner of birds and fowl..." (Biblical paraphrase).
All Lifeforms move toward ultimate unification with the 'Reservoir' from which they are manifest. That Reservoir - if indeed it is Self Aware - then becomes a 'Loving God'; the Spiritual version of perceived reality. And infinite in all manner.
If the 'Reservoir' is not innately, self aware...but just feelingless Energy expressed as Matter...then...IMO...the simplest Soul who feels and revers Love, is to be revered more than the totality of a limitless 'Reservoir', devoid of Feeling.
If there is God (Self Aware Reservoir), then those Entities who grow in Knowledge and Power, ultimately reach a point of 'transformation', whereupon they may CHOOSE their own perceptive, universal Paradigm. "In my house there are many mansions".
A loving and honest God would never create lesser Entities, for 'His' own gratification. Lucifer (Absolute Narcissism) would take God down if so. Therefore, Entities reach a point wherein they must CHOOSE their ultimate Reality. Either way...it's the 'Singularity'. There is nothing outside of the MIRACULOUS and inexplicable 'Reservoir'.
IMO, choose Love (Unity), and move from the limitations of a 'Self'...and on to the 'Promised Land'. I'll still miss my Dog, licking my hand and the children's face...IRL. Real...being key.
So poignant. So fleeting. So bittersweet. So beautiful...and ugly. Lord have mercy on the souls who love.
Back to Tuck and the 'real' world.

Discovery of like or airline would not run counter to my religious beliefs. Not sure why the proof of aliens automatically disproves the existence of a supreme being. Simply we do not understand the nature of that being.
