140mph on hwy167 north of Ruston. 70mph in a boat was WAY scarier

As with both it depends on what you in and if you are driving or not.
Been 140 on elevated highway in a vette coming back from Morgan city but the bumpy part was coming up.
skeeter does 72 and both solid as a rock.

On I459 in B’ham, Al., back in the day it was 135 in a 1996 Lexus LS400 right after new tires were installed. And, there was more pedal left.....

Hit 160 on my sport bike one time. Throttle wasn't all the way open but I had to shut it off because there was a soft corner in about a mile.

125 in a Z28 Camaro back in the day.

128 in a 2006 4 cylinder accord about a dozen times. Governor kicks in and the whole car starts rattling to shite. Used to make that middle of the night drive from Mandeville to Hammond in no time

1980. 120+ in a 1966 Chevy Caprice...with a stock, 396 "loafer" engine and a Holley 4-barrel carb. I had a 6-mile stretch of straight road all the way home. It was 12:30 in the am and about 2 miles from home, I decided to kick in the 4-barrel and let it fly. As I topped out and pegged the speedometer, I crossed a bridge over a creek. It had just started sprinkling rain. I nearly lost control and fishtailed back and forth a couple of times. Scared me straight....never did it again.

161 (GPS) 164 on the speedomoter on the way to Indianapolis 3 weeks ago. Tuned w222 S550 felt like it was going 80. I was going 95 and a car flew past me at 120 ish. I let it get about a mile ahead so I was sure there were no cops and no one between us on a straight stretch. If not for a hill in the road that wouldn’t allow me to see beyond, I could have figured out the car’s top speed.

216 on a track in an Outlaw 10.5 car.
200ish (prob 202-3) in a UR Lambo in Mexico. This was speedo indicated so prob +- 5mph. I didn't have my Dragy or GPS on to verify since it was a friends car.

Did 155 a couple times when I had my Camaro, but the limiter shuts you down at that speed. Still has plenty juice left though and got there easily. I always opened it up on old Hwy. 90 between N.O.East and Slidell. Back in hih school got my 300ZX Turbo into the 130s on the interstate.Tried in my 911 and my Vettes on Hwy. 90 but the suspension is just too stiff for that bumpy arse road. By the 130s my head would be bouncing off the roof. Got my Grand Sport to the mid-140s on the track at NOLA. Incidentally, I just traded in my Sebring orange ‘19 Grand Sport for a F150.

ETA: Did 145ish on a Yamaha R6 on Hwy. 90also but wasn’t happy with the fact that if an armadillo runs out in front of me, I’m dead. Though well over 100 on the track in full leathers on a track is not scary at all.

146 in a lambo huracan. Wife bought me time on a racetrack for my 30th. Could have gone faster, but there was a $500 fine for each tire that went off the track. I wasn't interested in losing $2k on my bday.

130's in a Jag XK. My FIL let me take it for a spin down in Houma. Not gonna lie, my butt tightened up when the car started shaking.
