Don’t forget that Burrow gave a lot of credit to his coach at Ohio State during the Heisman Awards, too! You need to remember that he was VERY well coached BEFORE he came to LSU and still didn’t put up the numbers that Brennan has put up this early in the game.

Brennan has been here his entire collegiate career.
Burrow was at Ohio State under Urban Meyer its not like LSU picked him up off the street. Brennan looked pretty damn good last night, I'm excited to see his development.

For you youngsters, Brennan replacing Burrow is much like Danny White replacing Roger Staubach. White was a Pro Bowl QB, but he was never gonna be Staubach and Brennan will never Burrow.

Burrow was great! No one can question that! Let’s not forget that he transferred to LSU bc he was going to remain a backup. He graduated at Ohio State and still gives as much credit for being coached up by Ohio State coach Ryan Day as he does to Brady. The Buckeyes were ranked offensively in top 5 nationally when Burrow came to LSU.

Brennan, on the other hand, has remained loyal to LSU until the bitter end. He watched Burrow play and learned. We have an excellent QB, and it will be proven as he gains more playing experience.

Show your support for Brennan!

I hope Brennan proves to everyone just how good he is-either this year or next.

Of course he won’t be like Joe Burrow! Damn!!! Is there another Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas,Peyton Manning, Drew Brees. Etc...? I don’t think so!

—SO, maybe we will one day be saying in a “PROUD WAY” that there will never be another Myles Brennan.

But the point of everyone bitching is that he looked totally different last night.

The point should have been, the defense gave up 39 points and 0ver 600 yds.
It didn't last night.

He played much better this week, but let’s not put him in the Heisman race just yet.... let’s remember who we beat last night.

I have to give credit to Brennan because he was much better than last week. I was very critical of his performance last week, so I'm hoping he can continue to progress each game and gain the confidence he needs to leads us to another great season.

I think it would be more fair to compare Brennans to Burrows.

The comparison to Burrow is insane. Burrow came to Baton Rouge and had a month and a half to get his bearings, learn the playbook, and get chemistry with his WRs. Brennan has had 4 years.

Four years to get chemistry with who? Jenkins, Kirklin, Boutte, and Gilbert? And how many O coordinators did this kid have since he's been here? Give him a break. There is no substitute for live game experience.

There were 13 drops in this game. Imagine what Brennan's stats would have been like if even half of those had been caught...!
