Do dems/Biden have an ulterior motive for pushing universal pre-k?

The studies on the subject mostly show that any academic benefit to pre-k dissipates by the 2nd grade or 3rd grade (aka by the 3rd grade, there is no discernible difference b/w kids who went to pre-k and kids who didn’t).

It seems to be like a massive new universal pre-k program is really just an attempt to increase the number of unionized teachers. More union dues= more money funneled to dem coffers

Or it’s to appeal to stay at home moms who would basically get free babysitting paid for my the taxpayer

The communists want to teach your children.

They don’t want you to teach them.

Absolutely. Scaled up, you're talking about several thousand new members to the teacher's union.

The Dim Marxists know they derive their power through leftist progressive indoctrination.

Bingo. Plus, their goal is cradle to grave government control.

Republicans are against pre-k now? I knew y’all hated higher education but I didn’t suspect you were this much advocates for an uneducated citizenry.

I guess the republican thing is to do whatever you can to push America down relative to the rest of the world. Idiocracy led by the reality tv huckster.

You're an idiot.

You have one candidate literally pushing school choice and then yours that is completely against it.

Someone likes people in chains.

Actually yes, it has. The robust American public education system propelled America to scientific and industrial supremacy. The right wing has been working very hard to tear it down and turn it into bible school. Republican policies have done tremendous harm.

Part of free child care.

Dems would rather the state raise the kids than the parents.

Universal pre-k should be a no brainer. Kids that go to pre-K have shown to be smarter/more advanced, it allows the parents a chance to work to at least make some income, etc.

The reality is most republicans rely on this as well, this isn’t the 50s where a family can survive on a single income for the most parts.

Hell, I'm against K. We didn't have it in New Iberia in the 50s. You started in 1st grade. And guess what, it was phased after 2 weeks. The two teachers of 1st grade only needed two weeks to make the exchanges creating 'the faster kid class' and 'the slower kid class.'
It was great. And it's probably illegal now.
