Lol if you believe he weighs 244.
I'm 6'3" and 244 would be noticeably fat/out of shape for me. He is noticeably obese.

Considering that survival odds for his age group are >90%, this isn’t much of a prediction.
My thoughts exactly. Taken literally Gupta is saying the president has below average odds for survival. CNN headline to follow...

Yesterday it was reported I think on FOX that flotus had a 99.9% and potus had a 99% survival chance.

That’s fat! A 74 year old has lost a lot of muscle and bone mass. Trump’s good weight should be about 170 pounds. He is about 70 pounds overweight. Add to that the visual evidence. Trump is a fat arse!
I’m 6’3” and at 195 I have very little body fat, I would look like a skeleton at 170.

If that guys name was Jim Smith CNN wouldn’t even give him the time of day. Diversitaaaaaay

So they avoid obesity on all fronts UNTIL it becomes relevant with trump.
Interesting.
Interesting.

Well 99.99 percent is above 90, so he is technically telling the truth.
Posted on 10/3/20 at 3:38 pm to Scruffy
I would take those odds. When I was diagnosed with cancer I was given slightly better odds then 90%. I was fricking elated!

Not sure about the ethics of a doctor giving out odds
I am. It's at the very least unprofessional. Also unethical. Probably sanctionable. But we revere our celebrity doctors and "scientists" too much to care.

This is a fair point that I think downvoters are misconstruing.

6' 3" 170 is rail thin. He should be around 200-210. Overweight but no 70 pounds.

Sanjay Gupta puts Trump survival odds above 90%
Was he crying when he said this?
Gupta is the epitome of a corrupt, bought-and-paid-for media hack. A "Doc in a box" has 100X more credibility than this Disney/ABC fraud.

I haven't read the entire thread, so someone may have mentioned this, but the real story here is that this buffoon is giving the President of the United States a 10% chance of dying from this, even though the President's rather mild symptoms have already taken a turn for the better.
To paraphrase an anonymous Hong Kong freedom fighter, "Gupta is Asshoe."

I saw he weighs 244. He is 6’3” and 74. The media would have you believe Fat Albert is president.
Trump is the same height as Obama - 6’1”. Trump is obese based on that height and weight per the CDC. Even at 6’3 and 244, he would still be obese.

Good Lord
If that is the case he should say "Not in my capacity as a doctor but rather as anybody quoting statistics..."
WHy did they get a doctor to do it? Acosta or Cuomo or any of the rest of their cast of clowns could have.
