His death popped up on my Facebook memories today. Hope he is still making weather forecasts and spotting the cavities in Saban's defense.

Some kind of genetic liver disease.

Can't remember exactly when he died. He sold his house in Lakeview on August 25, 2005 and moved to Natchez.

Had the privilege of meeting him in real life. Relatively quiet man. But you could tell there was a great deal going on in his mind. Once you got to know him you could tell he was as smart or smarter than you gathered here.

Was very sad to hear of his passing.

Loved Coolidge. He always strove to keep it civil and on an even keel. He is missed.
