That moment came against Auburn in 2018. He started off great in the first half and toward the end of the second quarter through the beginning of the fourth he couldn't complete a pass. I think at one point he had like 12 or 13 straight incompletions in a row. He keep his head up and kept playing. Long touchdown by Dillon then a 4th down conversion led us to a victory. What I am trying to say is it does take time for a player to get comfortable. Give Brennan time he will come around.

I have to say I was Always a Burrow guy but felt he was in a trash offense.

His stats against Miami were bad but so was our playcalling and protection. He threw the ball away when he needed to and he was poised.

I think Brennan’s issue is confidence. I think he sees and knows what to do but he’s waits too long to pull the trigger into tighter coverage.

Well, I love your positive outlook, but Burrow never looked like a deer in the headlights. He made mistakes, but never looked like he was scared of anyone.

MB needs to toughen up fast or the team is fricked.

Burrow in 2018 was under E's shitty offense. If Brady had been here in 2018, Burrow would've lit it up in '18 as well.

Even though everything you said is true and is also part of the game, real time game experience, this is the rant. And all the idiots on here that know nothing about the game but stat lines and bullshite will still call for the kids head. And after just 1 game at that. It’s freaking ignorant. Brennan will be just fine.

I was sold on Burrow the moment I saw his Ohio St Spring games.. then I was reaffirmed in my beliefs when I saw him take control day one against a very good Miami defense.

I was sold against Miami.

- Tried to fight pre-game
- Took some mean hits and stood up like a champ
- Hard counted them for a first down or two
- Threw a couple dimes
- Audibled for the long Brossette TD run where he wasn't touched

He just looked so in command and control. He looked confident, showed arm strength, showed toughness, and poise.

I remember looking at my dad and brother and saying "I think we've got ourselves a QB".

Burrow had bad stats for a while but the confidence and leadership was evident from game one. It’s possible and I’d say likely that Myles will grow more confident and more into the leadership expected of your QB, but that was the most obvious difference between last year’s QB play and what we saw Saturday. People are understandably very concerned when a guy who has been here 4 years looks like the game is still moving too fast. That being said we don’t have any reason yet to say it won’t get better.

Will Brennan improve I think so. But he will never be close to Burrow. He simply does not hv that kinda talent imo. I wish him well and hope I am wrong, becuz I love LSU football with a passion but currently I am sick to my stomach about what transpired on Saturday. That was one of the most embarrassing moments in Tiger football that I have every witnessed. IMO

This is where you lost me and why I don't have faith in Brennan. Kid could be seen multiple times head slumped facing the ground...looking defeated. He does not seem to have the fortitude or confidence to be the guy at this level.

It’s like some of y’all weren’t watching last week. Burrow 2018 was light years ahead of Brennan after 4 weeks in the offense.

Burrow and Brennan are completely different in their mental toughness and makeup. Perhaps Brennan will improve in his decision making and maybe the game slows down for him. We have to hope so because O and Ensminger have no real alternative.
Burrow held the onto the ball too long in those earlier ‘18 games because his receivers weren’t open. Brennan held onto too long because he was tentative his decision making was slow.

Oline must get better in pp and the backs as well. Not sure of this offense. No identity.

Burrow had ONE month in 2018 to prepare for a season. To learn the playbook and play under center which he last did before high school. He had confidence in himself to do what was necessary. Brennan has been here for 4 years and he looked like he had one month to get ready. That is concerning. Joe made audibles and could read a defense and react. Brennan can’t read a defense and has not reacted. It is one game but it is telling how he has no confidence. If he can get that, he will be fine. If not, then LSU is in trouble big time.

Burrow never lacked confidence. He was in a terrible offensive scheme and hadn’t really started on the college level yet. His struggles were normal and expected. You can tell a lot about QB by looking in his eyes; Brennan looks scared and clueless at times. When did Burrow ever have that look? Brennan had the J. Lee look anytime he faced Bama.

Annoyed the shite out of me how many stupid low football iq people didn't realize we had an amazing qb and a shite offense. Dropped passes, awful play calling, no run threat, horrible blocking. Joe did what he could w that and i doubt anyone would have done better.

"Happy feet" is a disaster. He doesn't have it. If he's the best we got, we're in trouble. In fairness, the offensive line is a joke....are they ever coached??
