Disclaimer: I'm a Buckeye Nut, but I'm respectful of the opposition.
Too many OSU fans right now are smirking and making fun of LSU, calling you "one-hit wonders," etc.
Let it be known that at least one of us has complete respect for the season you put together last year!

Didn’t Ohio state get absolutely drudged by Purdue 2 seasons ago? And someone else terrible the year before that? They can laugh all they want, they let the GOAT QB walk off their team and fall into our lap, we should be laughing at them.

One-hit wonder...we beat them by 2 TDs for a national title in 2007 and then cruised to another one last year with a player that they were dumb enough not to play (who went on to have the best season in college football history).

Many OSU fans, like many LSU fans here, think Orgeron may have just struck gold with Burrow and may not be able to sustain that. He did some "retread" hires that may not work out and yesterday those hires didn't look good
OSU fans are happy LSU lost in the same way LSU fans are happy when other good teams lose, to give you a better shot to where you want to get.

LSU losing to Troy ended up being a good thing. Hopefully this is another bad loss to give them a kick in the pants. LSU won 3 national championships in the last 20 years and played for a 4th. A lot of fans would be happy being “one hit wonders” in that regard.
