You the kind of guy who hangs around after you’ve achieved all your goals and risks millions because some guy on the Internet thinks you owe them something?

Didn’t think so.

Risk is minimal and you can have a career-ending injury in practice. You also have the chance to make more millions than before. Also you don't abandon your teammates, coaches and others who've supported you

For sure but we need to have a program that overcomes it

When players become bigger than the program, we have problems

They just got all their coaches a frick ton of money. Coaches should be be complaining and their teammates understand.

I was mad about this before the season started then I saw Brennan and that defense. Staying would have hurt them. Had Brady and Aranda stayed thing might have been different.

They wouldn’t have made that much of a difference. LSU has no QB, a below average OC, and washed up DC .

And stupid fans

I am not going to go that far. Chase took one look at this year's offense, compared it to last year's offense and realized he had no where to go but down. I wish he would have stayed, but he made a business decision. Shelvin made a mistake. His draft position is not nearly as solidified as Chase's. He could have benefited from a good year.

They owe you nothing. Stop being so entitled. They are allowed to decide what’s best for them.
Same people that volunteer Joe Burrow's body to be sacrificed to a financial enterprise (the Bengals) that doesn't care about its players...because of muh shut up and play.

OP is completely right, also the sentiment that the players don’t owe the fans anything is absolutely, completely correct. They do owe it to their teammates though, both will see their draft stock affected, yes, even Chase

The OP, and this Akeem guy are equal idiots!

No, Chase and Shelvin didn't screw anyone over. This isn't war; it's football. And for those kids it's an all-important career. Their teammates understand that they have to do what is best for them financially.

Second, Akeem is an idiot for thinking they left because their QB wasn't good. No one poured out of Baton Rouge when Jordan Jefferson was QB; nor for Brandon Harris. In fact, after the 2017 season, this same Myles Brennan was expected to be the next year's starter, and guys like Justin Jefferson didn't leave.

How many "Ranters" have quit on the team? Must be something in the water, or maybe its genetic.
Look in the mirror!
One loss, a new team with injuries, transfers, and several freshmen.
How much are you whiney fans supporting the team
Just Quitters!!

Vincent skipping the season hurt the most especially with Stingley going down.

They are doing what is best for their family. You would too.

Their no.1 team is their family and what they did is not anything unethical. They are amateur athletes. Any one of us would jump jobs for 100K raise. They did for millions and for their family

Stfu they probably saw in practice that Myles doesn’t have what it takes and got out of dodge I would’ve did the same

This doesn't justify what they did, it simply means that are also a quitter.
