He’s is no doubt a top 3 basketball player of all time. He exceeded almost unattainable hype coming out of high school. He’s a champion.

I don’t know many intelligent people that believe him to be anything other than insufferable.

Even people like me that really liked and defended him can no longer tolerate him.

I can’t think of a more unlikeable super star.

Everything changed after "tDecision". He was just a great player who was a role model to kids, stayed out of trouble, and just seemed like an all-around great dude. From that point on he's been an insufferable douche.

Ever? I mean OJ slaughtered some people so idk.

Guess it really depends on what grinds your gears more. Slicing people open or spicy political takes

This has always proven to be a subjective topic. The people who have claimed that LeBron is extremely unlikeable are people who never liked him before in many cases, and many of those same people have been known for some of the most irrational takes regarding LeBron.

you're going to have to define superstar because I can think of a lot of pieces of shite that are much worse. Is/was OJ a superstar?

No. Twice as many people like him than hate on him. And I'm obviously not talking about TD posters.

The public likes to tear people down. If there's no easy way, people will find something. They tried with Tebow, they tried with LeBron.

The same people that shite on LeBron for "China" or whatever will vote for Trump even though all his merch has been made in China

Dude is dumb as a bag of rocks. Good thing he's 6'7" and can put a round ball through a net because if he couldn't his arse would be on the back of a garbage truck. My take

Barry Bonds was pretty "unlikeable". Almost universally despite the fact he was chasing (and broke) the most "famous" records in major sports. It was equal parts that everyone knew he was juicing and that he didn't have a particularly outgoing personality to begin with. That standoffish personality became more pronounced as people constantly tried to tear him down while he was at the pinnacle of his career.

James had a likeable personality for much of his career, and there is no doubt he is a great basketball player. The problem is that his handlers, the media, his corporate sponsors have demanded he be social "icon" rather than just a great basketball player. Icon in the sense that he is supposed to be an impactful "voice" regarding various topics that have nothing to do with basketball, and on which he is woefully ill-informed. It's a shame because I think he's probably a pretty good guy. He's just trying to be something he's not because EVERYONE ELSE demands it of him.

He seems to think a lot higher of his personal opinions than most people.

I really do hate him and he may be objectively a really good person.

People y’all about putting your money where your mouth is and you cannot deny he does that. The school he is funding in Akron is no job. That’s real heavy duty charity.
