A lot to dissect on this graphic.

I am not sure I agree with everything represented here, but I do tend to think people on the fringes have a lot more in common with each other than they do with centrists.

What says the poliboard?

I find the altruism/egoism dichotomy to be odd.

Maybe we need the opinion of a farrier here.

Should really be a circle. Nazi's and Commies are both socialists and hate God and freedom.

Classical Liberalism was what was drove our founding fathers and our bill of rights establishes what government cannot do. But it was far from anarchism.

so a populist nationalist like Trump is closer to the commies than the liberals/democratic socialists etc? It falls apart there for me..

I actually had a fellow in college tell me that executions and murders by the Soviet Union and other communist nations were justified because they were done in the name of equality. You really can't argue with that level of stupid.

Naziism is left wing. I don’t know why that always gets confused. It’s complete government control of everything. Just like communism. Only I assume they didn’t distribute wealth?

Full right wing is anarchy. Not authoritarianism. Anarchy may lead to a power vacuum that gets filled by an authoritarian regime. But the total lack of government is NOT the same as absolute control and tyranny.

Disagree, National Socialism was Communism just by a different name. They both ran their societies as collectivist authoritative gov't with a dictator at the top.

Somebody post that CS Lewis quote from the other thread. Something about moral busybodies and their crusade for justice.

Any graphic or political dissection that doesn’t have Naziism and Communism essentially overlapping is written by someone who’s uneducated and doesn’t understand the economic/social matrix. Absolutely no reason for national socialism to be closer to corporatism than communism. Just intellectually dishonest

That is the most bullshite diagram I have ever seen.

Anyone who believes that Social Democracy, and Democratic Socialism are on the Altruistic side of the Scale is full of shite.

Allowing the Government to use the power of the gun to force people to support others isn't altruistic. It is evil.

Altruism is what you do without coercion, when no one is watching, with your own goods and services.

National Socialist (NAZIS) belong on the left beside the Marxism-Lenninism-Stalinism.

Really, I think it is all best represented by a circle where the extremist that start out left or right really just end up merging.

Maybe it was prepared by someone who has a better understanding of the two ideologies.

That's not necessarily true. Many Nazi's were devout Catholics, and Lutherans, that were rabid anti-Communist.

Either way you can pull me down for a Paleo conservative.
