So I guess we can't have civil war reenactments anymore either?

Guessing it was a single mom

Like in Vietnam?
The outcome of the war doesn’t change the gallantry of the soldiers within it

I’ve lived in Alabama my entire life and can’t think of anytime that I’ve seen someone dress up as a Confederate solider for Halloween. I’m surprised this costume ever even existed in the first place.
Sometimes I wonder if they don’t create these things explicitly so they can cause the “outrage” and have to remove the.

They weren't gonna sell that costume anyway. What little kid wants to be that?

Probably because no one in the south would do this. Sounds like something a lily white progressive in a lily white city on the west coast that only sees minorities on TV would do.

Is that cultural appropriation of European stereotypes of witches I see?
Those are not traditional African hat styles, thus they should be closed to people not of European descent, right?
These are the exact arguments I see being made by the wacko left

You are about to piss off some very bitter confederate veterans with this statement.....oh wait.

Will there even be Halloween trick or treaters this year? Serious question.

Hur dur dur.
Are you saying that there is no honor in the bravery of soldiers who have been on the side that has lost a war?
Hell, some of our most treasured stories have been about brave last stands. 300? Falkirk? The Alamo?
I’m no huge fan of the lost cause, but I am a student of history and recognize that there were brave men on both sides of the conflict, like in all conflicts. Denying that is just ignorant.

To be historically accurate the costume should include a white flag instead of a sword.
