Protect Trump yard sign

Anyone know how to rig up a trump sign with electricity? Just ordered two signs and I live in the garden district in BR so there’s like a 90% chance my sign will be stolen

Low tech is to back the sign up against your house and attach rat traps to the back.

You need to rig up some Wyle E. Coyote or Rube Goldberg traps.

I mean this guy couldn't figure out jumper cables and a battery. You're over here wanting a Rube goldberg machine. Good luck man. Although I'd love to see your idea in action sounds fun.

Get an industrial generator, rig a Step Up Transformer to the output, and then hook that up to the sign. It's just 2 wires coming off, one +, the other -. So simple even a Democrat can handle it.
Unfortunately the smell of ozone will probably tip them off before your home made version of Angola's Old Sparky can get them.

Just buy an electric fence setup at tractor supply and rig up the wire around the thin edge of the sign where it’s not as visible

Buy a fence charger,a cheap one will do, and run an insulated wire to the sign. Make sure a ground wire is run from the charger. I use the ground rod from my house electrical service. Make sure no metal part of the sign touches the ground. Don't use 110 volt from your house,lol, you'll kill the bastards, not that its a bad thing, but we don't want you to get in trouble. There is another hookup that you can use, the 2 wire hookup, but if the ground is wet, it could cause burns on the thieves and they might try to sue you

hide the battery behind a rock. jumper cables to the bottom of the metal on the sign. Set up a camera...profit.

You're probably going to need an electric fence charger, or it will just trip a breaker. Chargers don't cost much though.
