They are anticipating a “mostly peaceful” protest. Thus the need to fortify the building.

At least two federal buildings in Louisville, Ky., will be closed to the public this week amid widespread anticipation that the state will decide whether to bring criminal charges against the officers involved in the Breonna Taylor shooting.

Thedowntown federal courthouse and attached offices were being boarded up Sunday ahead what could be a controversial grand jury decision.

Protesters and the attorney representing Taylor’s family have demanded that all three of the officers involved in her fatal shooting in March be charged with at least second-degree manslaughter. But legal experts tell Fox News it’s possible some of the officers will not face homicide charges.

The officers were doing their job.

The actual legality of a no-knock raid is what should be in debate. Unfortunately there's a lack of nuanced discussion in 2020. There's more to it than "We're right, the police are wrong".

Fricking sad this has to happen, in a country of laws and due process.

They paid the family out already which doesn’t bode well for the cops even though they came under fire.

I wish those boarded up buildings go up in flames for even debating whether or not they should be charged. This is definitely the new normal. Why aren’t conservative DA’s doing the same to balance this out?

Speeding ticket? 10 years in prison
Called someone honkey? 10 years in prison
Don’t show up for court? 10 years in prison
Rioting with destruction? Felony + 10 years in prison

It may have been classified a no knock but witnesses heard them clearly knock.

What kind of message does this send to the criminals, and to the enemies of this country, but that we are a huge joke. We allow the refuse of society to terrorize society and are helpless to do anything about it. What an embarrassment... A once courageous great country, and now a shadow of it’s former self.

We now hide behind boarded up windows and masks, scared to speak our mind or we’ll get cancelled, and pander to the lowest of the low of society, making heroes out of villains and villains out of heroes.

Yep.
Just like the guy found dead in her rental car.

Breonna was trash. She knew why the cops were there.

How about call in National Guard “ahead of time?”

Half of the rioters will be from out of state - if left unchecked there will be someone killed. Guaranteed.

Blood will be on Kentucky governor and Louisville mayor.
