No, most of us would rather Monday morning QB while bitching about everything police do from our grandmother’s spare bedroom instead of joining the police force where most are hiring and actually helping fix “the problem”

I wouldn't do it. Not in this climate. Not worth it.

There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.
Many cops, myself included, started their careers as Reserve Officers.
If not you, then who? If not now, when?
Go for it. The satisfaction you receive from being part of the solution and not just another critic is very rewarding.
