I have confirmation for love of my girlfriend today. I mean I already knew it, but today was a day that I "super" know it.

Me and my girl went grocery shopping together for the first time. We've ordered online before but everytime we do it seems like half the things on the list is out of stock. And we have substitutions enabled but idk, it doesn't work. As an example we order a thing of sliced mushrooms and they just say yeah its not available. With substitutions you'd think "Ok just give me brown mushrooms instead, or give me whole mushrooms instead and I'll slice them myself" no it's just "we don't have this specific pack of sliced mushrooms you ordered and you have substitutions enabled but we can't do anything you're just not gonna get any mushrooms at all".

So we said frick that, and we planned a day that we'd go into the actual store to go shopping ourselves, and that was today. She was off work today, so since the weekend we had this day planned to actually go in and get everything we need. We made a list together of everything we needed since then and we were ready to go.

Today when I got off of work, this woman had a piece of paper outlining everything that we had made on the list, and it was literally sorted by the aisle each item was on in the store because she went online and looked at where they were in the store beforehand. So we go there and she has this piece of paper with her and I'll be goddamned if everything we had on the list wasn't exactly where she had mapped out. We had an entire cart full of groceries but we were only in there about 15 minutes before we were in line checking out because of her prep work.

Then we got home put away everything, and she literally said to me "Isn't Joe Burrow playing a game today?" So we watched the Bengals game and drank a bit (sad the Bengals lost but I do like Baker, and also Odell and Landry are LSU boys too so I aint too mad) but it's like damn. This chick fricking understands me and most of all, she fricking puts forth the effort and doesn't just sit back to see what I do. I fricking love her. I've had many relationships and other misc women in my life, this is literally the first woman that I have half a mind to propose to right now.

Literally the only thing keeping me from it is we aint even been dating half a year yet and I'm kinda weird about time and milestones. And I've given my friends and other dudes shite for settling down and I kinda told myself that that kinda life aint for me...but I'm falling into it. I guess it really is all about finding the right person for you. When you find that one it fricking hits hard man.

Don’t let a good one get away. It’ll be your biggest regret.

No, it's eat the booty like groceries. Apparently it made him think she's the one. That and she knows what aisle Ramen Noodles are in.

I was waiting for the part where you said that she mapped it out so you followed the arrows on the floor.

Be ready for a very planned and programmed life. To use your experience to illustrate what I’m trying to say- you won’t get to experience walking up and down the aisles of life- won’t have the opportunity to walk past something and be “hmmm... that looks interesting- I think I’ll give it a try.” My personal experience with someone who is this planned out is that it’s turned into a sh*t show the minute anything was spontaneous or not completely planned out.

I knew pretty early on in our relationship that she was the type of girl I wanted to settle down with, but, I was just coming out of a long term relationship and so was she. We hit it off instantly, but, took a while before we started dating.

I was traveling for work at one point in time, and one day while in Charlotte, texted her to see if she wanted to come to a Bobcats (at the time) game. I was half joking, but when she said yeah, I booked her a ticket and she flew out the next day. Spontaneity is a huge selling point for me.

We’ve been married 2 years, and have a 8 week old son. I thought she was amazing before, but, seeing her be a mom to my kid is pretty damn cool.

My wife needs two weeks notice to go to the damn movies. lol

My family is very last minute type of people and you'd think the world was ending if we get invited on a Thursday to go to my parent's house that Saturday. My kitchen table is also always littered with lists and notes of things she needs to do. She's killed a forest bc she feels the need to write down " 1. take out trash 2. cook dinner 3. pay bills every freaking day.
