When they do this (like the Chiefs did) they are standing (being respectful to the flag) but also making their statement. I'm cool with that. If every team did this rather than kneeling the disruptive nature of the protest could be heard without pissing patriotic Americans off.

Cool. Also, why do you care about kneeling?

Too late. Screw these clowns. I go out of my way to avoid the nfl as well as any “woke” organization. I’m fully prepared to suffer the consequences as a result

Let’s forget the ridiculous assertion of their protest. Why are they choosing to protest creating a divisive political moment during the national anthem which is suppose to unite us as Americans?

The damage is done as far as I'm concerned. Locking arms is their sign of protest and whether they stand or kneel or sit it out, they aren’t covering their hearts and they aren’t out there out of respect for the flag or the tradition for the freedom they have.

They’ve made their beds. They can sleep in them.

NFL players standing for the anthem started in 2009. Before that, they would stay in their locker rooms.

People should be able to peacefully protest however they choose. this is america, frick you if you think i have to standup for a flag.

if i sit stand or whatever it's my god given right as an american to do what i want within the laws of the country. there are no laws saying i have to do shite when someone plays the anthem.

Compromise to the whole situation though, Stop playing the anthem all together at sporting events. it's fricking weird.

Stand with right hand over your heart.

You do this for the Pledge of Allegiance and for the National Anthem

You should have learned this in Kindergarten

When they stop all the SJW/BLM nonsense start a thread and let me know, I may turn the shite back on.

A sign of unity, right after playing two national anthems.

They are trying to divide this country.

In general, I would not find this "strategy" offensive in taking a stand against something.

However, aside from the disrespectful nature in which they've protested before, it's their "cause" that renders their method irrelevant to me. If they stand for Marxism, along with hatred of police, then I have no respect for their "stand".

And this is usually the part where some liberal pipes up and says "oh, come on, WHEN did any of them say they hate police?". It's understood. They support an organization that wants to end cops. Cops are now being shot in their cars (which was always inevitable) in this climate BLM has created, which many of us warned about.

So, I'm sorry, but standing and locking arms doesn't move the needle for me. I want apologies to our cops and armed forces, an admission that their narrative was a lie, and an end put to all BLM messages from henceforward. Short of that, I remain done with them. I don't expect any apologies to come, and am not waiting on them. Perfectly happy without them.

I am sure that your approval is very important to the NFLPA, the owners, and the sponsors.

I find it bizarre that adults care about this shite. Why should I give a single solitary frick if another free American wants to kneel during the anthem?
