There's more than just academic records that can corroborate attendance. If he was really a promising MIT student there'd be other students, photos, etc. that could help his case.

This is what I struggled with the most on the Netflix documentary. They just glossed over the fact that not one single person has stepped forward to vouch for him. He didn't make a single friend in 4 years of undergrad that could at least claim they attended a few classes together? Seems unlikely.

He has been disproven. Element 115 has been discovered since he talked about it 30 years ago. It behaves nothing like what he claimed.

He’s a fraud.

podcast with Rogan

Notice how Lazar had to defer to his "handler" when asked certain simple questions about certain experiences he had on certain dates? That's what happens when you spend 30 years dishing out bullshite stories.

As someone else said, even if his academic records had been scrubbed, someone would have come forward by now to say they remembered him being there. Even if his horsedick claims of being recruited into a secret government program to reverse-engineer alien spacecraft were true, he would've had to be one hell of a student, and someone would've come forward by now.

If Bob Lazare is lying, he is the best liar ever. I don't know if what he says really happened, but I think he truly believes it.

Why they killed Art and not Bob is the real conspiracy here.

that includes a buried nugget about how astrophysicist and Pentagon contractor Eric W. Davis gave a classified briefing to government officials in March about retrieved “off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”
Yeah, I'd say that would be a significant announcement.

There are definitely aspects of the story that appear plausible but the education issue is one that should be extremely concerning as to be believing Lazar's story.

I'm not saying Lazar should have pictures of himself in the classroom, but he doesn't have old papers he worked on? He doesn't remember instructors' names? He didn't make any friends or have any people he worked with on projects that can remember him?

I pretty much loned it as far as my academic work in college so I can somewhat understand the notion of not being able to recall relationships with specific classmates but the rest is very sketchy.

For a lie this big Lazar would have to be very good. He tells a convincing story and his knowledge of specific times of testing of very strange aerial phenomena is something that is difficult to just explain away. The Netflix doc was cool because I hadn't heard anything about Bob Lazar since I was a kid in the early 90's and he was on every UFO program. I literally knew his whole story when I was 9 years old. Lol. But the narration was pretentious as shite and awful with Mickey Rourke and the production style and guy who orchestrated it were way over the top.

Lazar is a very compelling story but it seems to me that little has changed since the 90's in respect to determining the legitimacy of his claims.

As an aside, I find the Hollywood idea of humans uniting against an alien invasion to be pretty funny.

It’s 2020 and Elon is the face of the space industry because he can get the equivalent of 10 pickup trucks into orbit without losing his rocket.

The nearest solar system is 4.3 light years away. If a spacefaring civilization came to Earth and decided they didn’t like us, there wouldn’t be a war. It would be an eradication.

At best it’s the equivalent of a carrier strike group vs. 300 Spartans.

Nah, he contradicts himself several times throughout the podcast.

It's been a bit since I listened, but early on he deflected Rogans question regarding details about crafts other than the one he worked on by saying each craft was isolated so the crew would only have knowledge of the particular craft they were working on. He then later claimed in response to a different question that he saw all the other crafts once because they left the hanger door open. Were they isolated or were they all just chilling out in the open? That's one of a few things I noticed.

I think he's a smart guy that knows enough to spin a good tale. His handler is just a carnival barker that helps him moderate his story and gets a cut of the money he makes from appearances. I don't doubt things like this exist...but I ain't buying what he's selling.

Bob Lazar can't even tell you the year he graduated from MIT or any other college he claims to have graduated from. He may have taken a free course, MIT has those available.

The 80s were a different time and I can believe him getting a job at s4. The way those events played out are believable but the rest is made up for reasons we'll probably never know.
