The digital ps5s were sold out before the disc versions last night. The good news is the disc and digital are identical performance wise for the PS5. Xbox is trying to inflate their total unit sales by selling an inferior product for a $100 dollar less than Sony.

If it's uniform across retailers, according to Gamestop employees, they got much more disc versions than digital.

Yes, the guy who understands that people looking for a cheaper console don't care if it's 1080 or 4k is the one who is being "dense." It's like you guys are completely incapable of thinking about who the target audience is.

One of the only legit complaints I've ever heard about XBox is they don't have enough offerings for kids, and they've clearly made efforts to address that, but I guess we're trying something new now?

We're an XBox/Nintendo house. Gave up on Playstation during the PS2 era and never looked back. There haven't been many games I feel like I've missed out on.

I've had every Playstation generation at one point and I never got the OG Xbox. My first Xbox 360 was free courtesy of Mt. Dew and they've been my preferred console since then but I continue to buy the Playstations. Recently I picked up "Ghosts of Tsushima" for my son because I've heard that it is an incredible game but he has yet to open it.

I think XBox has better console exclusives, and Game Pass is the best deal in gaming right now. Y'all have to ignore Game Pass to make anything close to a claim that PS has better "exclusives." It makes you look foolish. It's impossible to ignore the value provided by that service.

For me and many others...a $1 game pass can’t hold a candle to the exclusive experience we get with Sony.
It’s not always about money like you seem to make it. We just have no interest in what it offers.
I will get more out of paying $60 for every exclusive vs the $1 game pass. I know you can’t get your head around that neither could I...until I ditched Xbox and became Sony woke.
And this is why nobody can take you serious.

In other words, you haven't looked at it and don't understand that titles are added and removed from Game Pass regularly, just like Netflix. Are there filler titles that probably only relate to a certain niche or group of people? Sure. But they also have big name AAA titles on there regularly. You are truly missing out.
