As with Netflix vs Disney, both are profitable models if done right, and based on so many messages of people saying they'll buy PS5 and get gamepass on PC you'll see a lot of gamers spend money with both companies. But with one company you'll get quantity and lower budget products (not necessarily lower quality, just lower budget), with the other you'll get a lot of attempts at blockbusters.

There are as many gamers out there like you as there are that are completely different from you. If they don't buy a PS5 clearly they don't give a shite about playing whatever fantasy exclusive you have a hard-on for. I think people get blinded by words like "Spider-Man" (which I'm sure was a great game) and that allows them to miss the forest for all the trees. When you really break it down neither console has the obviously better exclusives, but one console has a legit "Netflix for gaming."
