Holding out hope this happens. The Series X was supposed to run Flight Sim at Ideal settings, which is why I have not bothered to beef up a PC.
They are all in on FS on Xbox, so hopefully they can work it out. The current One X can just about scrape minimal settings, so maybe they can get Series S slightly better at least.

Ideal Settings are probably just high with limited AA.
I can barely get 30fps on Ultra @ 2160. OC'd and underwater too, so +210/+400.
It is a beautiful game, kinda the only thing I'm playing

not hard. xbox is usually good about supply and there haven't been leaks of anticipated shortages

That's what I use it for. You get a 10hr trial for every EA game that begins a week before the game is launched. I play a few hours of Madden every year and I remind myself why I'm not buying Madden until it's free.

I have a question about backwards compatibility.
Say for like a 360 game, do I simply need that disc? Can I purchase the 360 game digitally?

Can someone explain to me how buying the console outright would be better than doing Xbox All Access?
All Access is $35 a month for 2 years = $840 for the console and Game Pass both
The console by itself is $500
Game Pass for 24 months is $360 ($15*24 months)
I hadn't intended to go the All Access route, but it seems like it's actually cheaper than buying the console and Game Pass separately. What am I missing here?
ETA: I was wrong on the Game Pass Ultimate cost. Looks like Access is worse if you buy Game Pass in packs of 3 months or get a deal on it.

Yeah that's not a concern for me. I'm really considering doing that even though it isn't a good of a deal as I previously thought. Also looks like the $35 a month does not include taxes and shipping.

I am just thinking of those poor families that will end up using a place like Fingerhut, Conn's or Aaron's and end up paying more just for the console by itself.

They've dropped their prices recently as they're cutting into their profits by selling the PS4 for $419.99.

Wow. MS is directly ripping into their business with this All Access deal and not ripping people off with it at all.
