Yeah, A-Train is clearly going to fall down dead of a heart attack. He could take the rest outside of Homelander...
A-train, just like The Flash, could take a steak knife and carve up any normal person on earth in a blink. Pretty cool.
A knife or other regular weapon might not hurt another super (not sure) but he’s so fast that no other super except Homelander would get a lick on him either. So like against Translucent, he could’ve ran to Home Depot, come back with a can of paint, throw it around until some gets on translucent and he can be seen, run to a gun store and grab a powerful rifle, run back to translucent, pull down translucent’s pants, shove the gun up the guy’s arse and fire all rounds. All that could be done in seconds. Pretty neat power. Except for the heart attack.

That is a top notch post, well done. I don’t think A-Train makes it through this season but I don’t know anything about the comics. I don’t see his story going much further.

Yeah. The purpose of his story was to introduce compound V. Other than that, he’s pretty much just been a pain in the arse since the first episode of season 1.

I don't know the books; but the heart attack is being beaten over our heads. He had one, he's close to another a few times already.
But when people talk about superheroes, speed is severely underrated. I don't care how big or powerful you are, speed will more than level the field. People need to understand- to the speedster, everything else is slowing down (the Quicksilver scene in DOFP illustrates that). It doesn't matter if you're going against the Hulk, he's just a statue.
A-Train has that same ability, as he shows by killing his girlfriend. He's able to place each needle and inject her, so he has coordination at speed.
Kinda makes you wonder how he managed to run into Robin; he should easily have seen her in time. I guess he literally wasn't watching where he was going.

any other place where there’s a large collection of Asian residents. Start calling them yellow. See what happens.
Well... My wife of 45 years is Vietnamese and the in-laws never looked at it as offensive, unless the person is being offensive. I guess that makes my kids white, black and half yellow? They are just words my friend, and any intelligent individual will not take offense to a word that can mean many things.

I got to say, this is way better than Heroes was.
Posted on 9/9/20 at 11:18 pm to OMLandshark
Heroes had no direction after season one. Hell even season one had only direction.
The Boys runs laps around everyone other superhero show out right now.

I'll ban bet you Stormfront ends up being hella racist in the show.
She also has the SS lighting bolt earrings something I didn't even notice until someone on YouTube pointed it out also she has the Imperial Eagle as a belt buckle. Small details kind of give her away

Just wrapped up the first part of Season 2. I really liked Stormfront at first. Said all the shite I wanted to say about these superheroes. Shockingly she’s no different than the rest of them.

Yeah after a bunch of autists swoon over her that they notice....

I did see upon rewatch in her introduction, if you try to read her text messages on her phone, someone said "OMG luv your earrings". I didn't notice anything at the time, thought it was generic social media chick babble.
I guess she's kinda rocking a bit of a shaved head on the right, figured it was just a punk style instead of a noticeable skinhead thing.
Funny that Edgar, a black man with an eye for marketing and promotion at all times, would bring her on. I guess if you get technical, it's also a contrast between the people Ashley wanted (she picked a blind Asian, and was talking about demographics a bunch), and the demographic Stormfront will be used to represent (extreme Right Neo-Nazi).

Makes mew wonder if Ashley even chose her. Your past you can hide sure, but she straight has NAZI gear on
Posted on 9/10/20 at 10:08 am to dawgfan24348
I have to say it is pretty appropriate (I’m guessing unintentionally) that Stormfront is from Portland given what is going on now.
Posted on 9/10/20 at 10:10 am to OMLandshark
To be fair the northwest has a weirdly high number of Neo-NAZIs

this. character in the comics was a nazi
I mean, I didn’t make the connection until she called the Asian guy a yellow bastard, and then I started thinking about her superhero name “Wait... Storm... Front... Storm- oh yeah, I get it now. She’s a Nazi. God damnit, I liked her at first.” But no you just have to pay attention and know about white supremacy to make the connection. Didn’t read the books.

What exactly are Queen Maves powers?
Think Wonder Woman minus the ability to fly.

It’s possible that she’s related to the founder and inventor of Vought and Compound V. They said he originally was a scientist in Nazi Germany but later worked for the US and pardoned.
That former CIA lady also mentioned Lady Liberty who looks kind of like Stromfront. Maybe that’s her mom or maybe she’s way older then she looks.
Also was Becca and her son living in a gated compound? I didn’t think so until I saw some people on the sub Reddit point it out. There’s no one else shown except for that piano lady. The kid also doesn’t seem to know any other kids. When Becca was driving to that place, it was really long fenced area.

Yeah. There's a scene where she runs up to the gate of the compound and hops on the phone where she wants to talk to the Vought folks about being relocated to get away from Homelander. That's why Homelander threatens her with telling their kid the "truth" about them living in on a compound and not living a normal life.
