How is this a breakthrough? I got a rapid test in Tennessee yesterday. Got the results in 10 minutes

Fine. Pay them minimum wage and then bill them for the 40,000 dollars they cost to house every year. They couldn't pay it.

The Pac12 literally cancelled because of the bullshite post covid myocarditis issue. Same with Big 10 the walk back alone should make people want heads on a pike. These same frickw literally shut down our country for months and now they can just gradually walk back because of bad polling. It's insane.

Did I miss the part where the SEC is MANDATING that student athletes participate in fall sports or that they will face any sort of reprisal whatsoever if they choose not to?

Yep, these rapid tests which are reliable to determine if a person has enough virus to transmit it to others are not brand new breakthroughs. PAC-12 is just backing their way out of a bad decision while getting a kick back from one company for it.

I wonder how much these student athletes care about Greg Sankey. I mean they are after the almighty dollar as well. It's a two way street and nobody is forcing them to play. They can all opt out if they like and many of them are.
I wonder if Sankey has the option to opt out like the Big 10 commish?
Also I agree with fiddle and anyone else who has posted the fact that we have had rapid testing for over a month. This is just a way for the PAC 12 to sell it to the libs on the West coast and not be the only Power conference not playing.
