Yeh.....I dont know why we all need to be "team chase" here and kiss his arse

I wish him no ill will and he made his decision. But why in the hell should lsu fans be "happy for" a player that leaves the team high and dry 4 weeks before kickoff? And it sure looks like he did it without giving coach O respect

This. Entitlement culture is destroying athletics.

Jordy or T-Bob simply asked him has he heard from the staff since the announcement and he responded by saying he hasnt heard from them. How did you twist that into him asking for someone to kiss his arse?

This is the correct take.

I would have had no issue had he done this months ago. He didn’t just wake up last week and realize he’s a lock top 5-10 pick. So hiding behind “it was a common sense decision” is a bit of a cop out. Especially when you were just quoted fairly recently about how bad your son wanted to play.

You heard it from Stingley's dad as well.

They get treated like kings while they are here. That's the result of irrational, insane, emotional fandom. When they leave, there are going to be irrational, insane emotional responses.

The problem is that the players (and apparent parents who should know better) take the former "god-like" attention as the norm, and the latter irrational abuse as a slap in the face.

None of it is rational.

The best analogy is when a girl you loves breaks up with you. She might do everything right and handle it as good as possible, but for a period of time you are going to hate that bitch. Cooler heads prevail.

because of dumbass fans. had stupid NFL owners not paid these guys what they do they would stay in school for 4 years. just because they make billions does not mean they have to pay guys millions. these dumbass fans would be happy if we went to 1 and done like basketball so we would never have any continuity or chemistry. college football is in deep shite if we start having a bunch leave after 2 years like chase.
