No, Trevor Noah is from South Africa. I love his stand up and he’s honestly hilarious, but since he has to be on the daily show they require him to have input on politics, and South Africa’s political spectrum is much further left. Our dems are centrist there.

Trevor Noah is the prototypical smug big city liberal that turns his nose up at anything less than the hottest of the hot pop culture takes. His entire life is spent in LA/Manhattan.

I was watching some reruns of The Office a few weekends ago. Every commercial break, they'd to a Daily Show commercial with him being unfunny and crying about Trump.
Funny part is, when he comes on, there'd be a graphic that would flash T-D-S. At first I was like "yep, that mf'er certainly has TDS" and thought that was just funny. Then I realized it was for "The Daily Show" Still made me laugh as I thought it was so appropriate for that unfunny prick.
I don't know a single person who watches that show anymore.

His dad was white and mom was black. When his mom and dad got together, it was a SEVERE crime. Either one could be put in jail and his mom could be killed. For the first like 10 years of his life his dad had to sneak around to see him. If they were walking on the street and a policeman was close his mom would drop his hand and walk away from him because she could not be seen with a half white kid.
You talk about racism? THAT is racism. He’s saying NOW in America is some of the worst racial profiling he’s ever seen...what!?!?

This also describes the entirety of Europe and the Western Hemisphere as well. Most of Asia is on a different playing field entirely, and the majority of African political systems are functionally non-existent.
Our political spectrum and party dichotomy is quite unique.
