He says he looks to return to field in 2021. I’m assuming he means the NFL field.

Should have gotten a chance to break the news on his own terms. But it is what it is

Selfishly, I am disappointed because I loved watching him play and wanted more of it this season. Wish him the best...

Will go down as a top 5 all time LSU WR
Thank you for your services and the natty!

He keeps referencing in his statement that it was an honor to wear #7. Well in my opinion, he never wore it. Taking pictures in it doesn't mean shite. He never wore it when in mattered, never scored a touchdown in it, never got blood and sweat on it. He isn't a #7.

The selfish part of me hates this and wants to lash out but it’s not my 25 million dollars on the line.
I’ll sleep on it before talking shite.
Thank you for torching Bama and Clemson Jamaar. Hopefully you go on to be great ambassador for LSU

Dude can do what he wants. However, that is a WEAK arse statement. 99% of that is just to appease fans because he just went from being beloved to being almost hated.. Don’t spew bullshite about wanting to be on the field...you could have been. Just say you got tons of money and you were advised it was the right business move. You clearly didn’t REALLY want to play.

I wish him the best, but it's too bad that Saban won't have to have nightmares about him for this year. He stands with Josh Reed as the only other WR at LSU that I remember being completely unstoppable against Bama. And he made it look so easy too.

This is fricking insanity
Why? This is the free market at work. This is a fricking beautiful moment. This guy at 19 years old has the opportunity to make millions of dollars and set his family up for success for generations. Most don't, but he has the opportunity. He was one key component of the national championship, he gave LSU what he was supposed to. If this wasn't the strange year it is he'd be on the field.
Ja'Marr leaving and being able to use his rare skillset to make money is what this country is about.

I prefer Josh Reed.
ETA: In all seriousness thanks for the good season
