This $29.5 Million English-Style Manor in Houston Comes With 3 Kitchens The regal, 26,000-square-foot property

quote:

Otherwise known as “The Manor on Carnarvon” because it’s a really big house on, uh, Carnarvon Drive, the place has six beds, seven full baths and nine half baths. From the outside it looks like a filming location for Pride and Prejudice, from the stone walls and slate roof to the adjacent fountains and parterre gardens. Iron gates guard both entrances to the estate.

The primary suite spans two floors, with two studies, a massage room, gym and tanning room on the first level. Upstairs is a sitting room, a pair of walk-in closets and his and hers bathrooms. The other bedrooms are accessible via a separate staircase—or elevator. The home also includes a wine vault and home theater.

Not gonna lie, that place looks incredible.

ETA
Here’s the thing though. The people that live there, how often are they actually there?

Houston is a much better place to live than where I do, but I'm not spending 29 million to live there

31 million in Jackson, WY

Didn't this area get fricked when the bayou flooded? I know a person that lives in the vicinity of this house, on the bayou, and the first floor flooded.

It would take billions in net worth to have a place like that.

Aaron Spelling had an incredible place but wasn't a billionaire and I never understood how.

I’ll pass this info on to my butler. He’s in the market for a second playhouse for his daughter.

What's the public school rating where that home is? Very important to know.
