not the retirement benefits, but they most certainly do get the ssi and disability benefits for stupid reasons like not speaking english or they have kids so they cant work

SSN are sold on the black market. Numbers may be lower than I think but still someone out there cheating

Oh they have ssn numbers but they are made up or stolen... personally seen van full of these guys come in to apply for shipyard jobs they swap ssn cards and ids in the parking lot

I checked this out several years back. If they work & contribute under a fake #, then get amnestied or otherwise legalized, they can file to have the monies they've contributed under the fake # moved to their (now) legitimate account.
