Dallas county reported 5361 Covid cases today

Officially over it. They’re counting back log cases all the way back to March and April.

Dallas County is such a shithole that there has been a huge push not just to Collin County but into Fannin and Grayson counties.

The building going on in the entire DFW area is amazing but then, if 1.5 million people move here in a decade that's 150,000 a year. That is a small city.

Bc labs are late to report them and the county probably doesn’t have a time machine to go back in time to report the results on the days they were actually taken.
It’s an imperfect system, and I’d prefer them keep a separate tally that showed the numbers on the dates the tests were taken. Of course this is also flawed but the information doesn’t flow in at real time. There is no perfect solution bc not all tests give results at the same speed and not all places report results at the same speed either. Therefore there will always be lagging numbers.
But at least they are releasing the information and noting where it came from. It isn’t like they are just saying 5361 positive tests were taken yesterday.

At a local level, it's not a problem at all. Every time a backlog is reported, they clearly state it. Even in Louisiana, for the most part. So if you're paying attention locally, and aren't retarded, you'll see the numbers for what they are.
The issue comes when those numbers get rolled to the national numbers. At that level there's no talk of backlog and the national media uses that to OMG IT'S HAPPENING because no one looks at what makes up the national numbers.

This is why the virus is a hoax. It absolutely exists and can kill but the reporting is biased and incorrect.

That's why they disclosed the fact they are backlogs. The problem is and has been testing is not being returned in a timely matter and now the number of tests given per day has dropped significantly. Hence, lower case numbers. The positivity rate is still very high.

Most the phase 11/111 trials going on for the FDA are having problems finding new critical/severe patients. With all the fear you would think they have ten of thousands available.
