Damn they still have one back home. Always a cheeky place to do some back to school shopping.

Stein Mart in Dunwoody turned into some kind of Christmas emporium (WTF?) about 18 months ago. I used to shop there from time to time. One of the cashiers was an older black lady who was absolutely stacked. She alone made that place excellent.

I remember my mom buying a lot of clothes from there, for her, when I was a kid. Always being drug into there.

Probably haven't been in one in 15 years.

I guess we don't need them AND Marshalls AND TJ Maxx AND all the other stores that sell discounted "seconds"

I found a lot of good deals there on name brand stuff. Time to go clean up.

Dang it. I get 75% of my clothes from Stien Mart. Of course I've ordered stuff online from other places a lot more in the last few years, but I still like going into the store and looking at stuff. Their sales and coupons were the bomb.

I managed the Men's Dept at one a couple of decades ago. Cheapest fricking outfit...

We were constantly hit by a shoplifting ring and corporate refused to allow us to have enough people on the floor to adequately cover our areas against them (we only needed 2 people in a department, or even just one person that floated around from department to department) or even security (which meant the losses were used as knocks against us in our reviews). When the store manager finally was given the green light to hire someone for security, he hired a female who could qualify as a tall midget (she was something like 4'10 or so). Eventually her son was caught shoplifting costume jewelry by that department's manager.

That's the only job I've ever walked out on and I have absolutely no regrets.
