What is it that you are going to get, specifically government wise, by voting for Biden?

And don’t do the standard ‘get rid of Trump’ chant. We get all of that already.

And don’t just broadly generalize like ‘life for blacks will be better.’ You’ve had Democrats in power and in the majority off and on for years.

I want to know what specific government actions will take place that you find a big plus by voting for Biden. How is your life going to change for the better? I’m not arguing for Trump! I’m not a fan of his either. I’m just curious.

I've talked to a couple who will vote for Biden, despite his obvious mental decline. In discussing SowJoe's detriments, it's evident these folks would vote for PolPot as POTUS if he had a "(D)" after his name.

Oh, and regarding Biden constantly misspeaking, forgetting words, losing train of thought ... well ... it's just that "old speech impediment" of his. The same "speech impediment" not in evidence a single day of >45 yrs he served in Washington through 2017.

Can't speak for others, but I'll take another four years of Trump over this ticket and it isn't close.

The fact that this election is even in question tells you all you need to know about the decline of this country.

I know it won’t be popular on this board, but I like he is for providing access to affordable healthcare to everyone. I believe it is a Christian imperative we do this and feel it is sinful for people to go broke in the richest country that has ever existed for healthcare reasons.

So you don’t think it’s valid that a person would cast their vote simply based on the President being a racist, bigot, liar, etc, etc, etc, etc and how those behaviors shape our social world. You certainly can ignore those things, but I won’t. They matter.

I'm voting for Trump six times this year.

I'll never vote dem no matter who is running on the R ticket.

Watching the news and listening to interviews and seeing tweets, I know what Joe is bring to the table.

Free healthcare for illegals
Higher taxes
Tear down the wall
Affirmative action VP
Bow down to China
More radical governing
2nd amendment changes
Hate speech illegal
More history erased
Stacking Supreme Court with extra liberal judges
Reparations

Thats just off the top of my head.

Here's why they (liberals) will vote for Kamala/Biden:

They can sit on their asses and get paid with no repercussions.

Humane immigration policy is important for me.

I find Trump’s asylum policies to be antithetical to being the “City on a Hill” that Reagan used to espouse.

Fan or not, no sane American is left with a choice. It’s Trump in November or this country morphs into something the next generation will severely regret.

For many Democrats the answer really, really is Biden has the best chance against Trump that is the God's honest truth.

Personally, I think Biden was the only candidate with a remotely reasonably healthcare policy. Although his plan is sort of dumb too.

As a diehard liberal, myself.. go carl marks!

I think highly of Biden's promise to increase taxes. He also won me over with his support of BLM.. because I'm white, and I just can't support a presidential candidate who doesn't want to persecute me and my family for being white. Hopefully he'll help create laws that really oppress us white folks.

They know there is nothing but getting DJT out of office. I like to point out that they now know why I voted for him and HRC in 2016. Welcome to the club

The environment and health of our planet is the most important thing to me. In general Im going to vote for whoever has the best plan for conservation and against those who are willing to sacrifice our resources for $. Im also have very strong opinions on providing healthcare and education access for everyone.

I will gladly pay more in taxes, and suffer a decrease in my income for these initiatives. Typically it has seemed like of the two parties, the Democratic one would appeal to me more regarding these issues. Really dont care about other social or political issues as much, and i may not even agree with their stance on them and probably side with republicans more. But They just dont matter as much to me.

Pretty much the same thing except a different color tie and letter after the name. More chaos.

Trump is not the cause of the problems we face. He is a symptom of the problems we've brought upon ourselves. A good portion of America collectively gave a big "frick you" to political correctness and the hijacking of individual sovereignty and Trump is the result. It will be interesting to see if the hubris and callous nature of Trump results in a backlash in Biden's favor or if the "silent majority" really is a thing. I would prefer civil discourse, but I'm afraid the left won't allow that either, so I may just "take a knee" this election. I can't stand Trump, but Biden is the weakest candidate I've seen in a long long time. As a result I'm going to focus on local elections to try and do my part to make things better.

I’m sorry, but the poor in American are not the biblical poor.

Yes the Bible says we should help the poor, but it also says if a man doesn’t work then he should not eat (NT). It says man shall eat by the sweat of his brow. This is not a contradiction.

It’s that the Bible classifies the poor as those who work but cannot make ends meet or can just barely make ends meet or are physically disabled. If you are fit enough to stand at an intersection in the hot sun all day for drug money, then you are fit enough to fry some bacon at the Waffle House. If you are disabled you receive disability. We have socialized medicine if your income level is below a certain threshold.

It’s extremely hard to truly be “the poor” in America. We live in an unprecedented time of abundance and wealth and even lowest class Americans eat better and have more creature comforts than every king that existed before this tiny sliver of time.

Helping the poor doesn’t mean financing the lifestyles of drunks, derelicts, and homeless sex offenders.

liberal here, serious answer to the serious question

1. health care. anyone who thinks the current disaster was the plan is insane, you cant say the left wants single pay AND impossible insurance premiums, those are exact opposites.

2. get the money out of elections, SuperPACs and Citizens United are poison, its how you get pay for play. Biden has been writing bills on this since the 70s

3. the end of private prisons and justice reform, no one should be in jail just for drug use or some draconian third strike violation.

4. equality act. Im a straight white guy, this isnt personal to me, and to be perfectly candid I think some of the trans stuff is a little weird, I dont get it, but I dont have to get it, its not my life, and no one is free until everyone is free.

5. hard commitment to renewable energy, another thing that wont help me personally, but its the old proverb, "society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in". what we're doing now very clearly wont work forever, its not tenable, it has to change, we cant do this to the future.

6. gut defense spending and our military presence around the world, the amount of taxpayer money given away is insane beyond words, there is no chance that money is being anything but stolen
