Prove to me that you know about sports by telling us where the 4 hole is?
Ill do you one better, Ill tell you I think its dumb to cancel the CFB season, and that the players are safer in a controlled environment where theyre being tested regularly. Its being cancelled because of liability concerns, not the facts as we now know them. Travel is still an issue, I have no idea how to space people out effectively for that, but if there is a way theres no reason not to play.

good lord, finally someone who at least knows how to do a proper insult, thank you, its like the right doesn't even know how to argue anymore.

Where have I complained about this dumbass?

oh good lord, I didnt mean you personally, I meant the people defending this system.

No one argues against paying “any” taxes. But wouldn’t it be nice to determine, as a people, where the dollars are spent? And actually have clarity of goal and accountability? Washington DC has become a giant black hole gobbling up everything that everyone produces or earns. Therein lies our loss of freedom.
yes of course, Im with you on that 100 percent, anything to the contrary should never even be an option.

This is totally backwards. A centralized system is much less efficient than localized systems at the state level. States running things with Federal support (which is what is happening) is the best way to do things.
then stop complaining that the numbers are wrong and all biased against you. you cant insist on using this system and then say the system sucks when it doesnt tell you what you want to hear.

A good way to find out is to “search up” his messages to see where he is copying and pasting from, or where he is running back to his comrades.

by all means, go right ahead and do that. go right down the list, do every single one, go crazy.

honest question: I see some version of this a lot here, seems to be a big theme with the maga crowd, but then you(*) also defend the super rich at every turn whenever theyre criticized. you all hate Jeff Bezos, but god forbid he pay any taxes.

youre living in a fantasy world if you think Im a fan of the "ruling elite", I want to hold them accountable, why dont you?

(*) I dont mean "you" personally of course, Im just asking your side. Or maybe Im way off, if so tell me, I come to this board to avoid an echo chamber of my own

OK so if all those mentioned above prove it is us unwashed Wal-Mart shopping deplorables that are wrong...
what? no, youre missing the point. the point is theyre not proving you wrong, theyre not out to get you, its not them vs you.

...than why did Trump trounce that skank Hillary in 2016 and could win again in 2020?
he lost by 3 million votes dude

So if we go along with your view those above were proven wrong not us, right?
no it just proves that the media is not actually out to get you. if the entire media really was conspiring to shred trump, he'd be shredded.

Im not saying there is no bias at any time anywhere, and Im not saying they never get anything wrong, you can obviously find and magnify lots of examples of both if thats what you choose to do, but this thing where you just dismiss everything you dont like as "fake news" is not healthy dude. grown men dont just stamp their feet and pout when something goes wrong.

If you don’t think the overwhelming volume of media coverage is very biased then there’s no point discussing anything with you. Get real. The damage is permanent.

if you know 10 people, and 9 of them think youre a count, the problem isnt them, its you.

"Sundance" from Treehouse tells you what you want to hear so he's legit but Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The NYT, Washington Post, LA Times, USA Today, BBC, Sky News, Politico, Vice, Vox, The Hill, Time, Newsweek, BI, Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Huff Post, Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook are all out to get you?

this is not mentally healthy dude, Im begging you to open your eyes.

how fringe does your world have to be before you connect the dots on this?

how small does your echo chamber have to get before you start to wonder if maybe the problem is you?

so its now Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The NYT, Washington Post, LA Times, USA Today, BBC, Sky News, Politico, Vice, Vox, The Hill, Time, Newsweek, BI, Rolling Stone, BuzzFeed, Huff Post, Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook that all are crazy, and youre down to some blogs written under pseudonyms and a "news" network openly cheers trump and craves his approval

quote:

Many Dims in Congress were getting the same briefings as Trump but they were not concerned

you sure about that?

quote:

Women will vote for a guy they don’t like, so long as they think he will protect them from the bad guys and is good with money.

Women will absolutely NOT vote for a woman they don’t like.

hillary is fricking awful, no one liked her.

and she still beat trump by 13 percent.

try to actually win the female vote for once, then give advice. trump was underwater with women 2 to 1 even before Harris got the nod, and this is the poll people here are calling "good news".

those three categories at the bottom arent exactly the most flattering thing in the world either.

quote:

Trump must’ve put someone in place to attempt to block their efforts at mail in voting

no, actually he put someone in place that is removing the sorting machines so it has to be done by hand now. to make it as slow as possible.

and someone with 30M+ invested in rival shipping and logistics companies, like UPS and XPO.

and someone who was hastily appointed in May when it became clear we'd need mail-in voting.

so yeah all this is perfectly normal, youre all good Americans for cheering this on.

quote:

They may be the most inefficient government agency.

literally the most popular federal agency by a clear margin, but yeah I get it, maga doesnt want Americans to vote. trump lost the popular vote last time, has never been above 50 percent in any poll in the 4 years since, and is losing badly in every poll now. so just suppress votes. like Putin does. thats what a good American would do, right?

quote:

not one mention of the US Senate and Congress sitting on their hands in January and February when they should have been working with the White House to prepare for impending pandemic

hahaha, holy shite. yeah, its too bad the democrats didn't work with trump in saying it will all go magically away in the sunshine

Jan. 22 (first case confirmed in US)
"We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It's going to be just fine."

Jan. 24 (2 cases confirmed)

Jan. 30 (7 cases confirmed, WHO declares it a global health emergency)
"We think we have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five — and those people are all recuperating successfully. But we're working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it's going to have a very good ending for us … that I can assure you."

Feb. 7 (11 confirmed cases)

Feb. 10 (12 confirmed cases)
"I had a long talk with President Xi — for the people in this room — two nights ago, and he feels very confident. He feels very confident. And he feels that, again, as I mentioned, by April or during the month of April, the heat, generally speaking, kills this kind of virus."

Feb. 23 (51 confirmed cases)
"We're very much involved. We're very — very cognizant of everything going on. We have it very much under control in this country."

Feb. 25 (57 confirmed cases)
"You may ask about the coronavirus, which is very well under control in our country. We have very few people with it, and the people that have it are - in all cases, I have not heard anything other."

Feb. 26 (58 confirmed cases)
"And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done."

Feb. 27 (60 confirmed cases)

"And we've done a great job. And I've gotten to know these professionals. They're incredible. And everything is under control. I mean, they're very, very cool. They've done it, and they've done it well. Everything is really under control."

quote:

Ugh. frick any answer that is “Fed gov needs to do it”

normally I would agree but when you have something that effects every state, and its something they need to coordinate on as fast as they possible can, it needs to be federal. its not like the the COVID in Texas has a cowboy hat or some shite, its the same in Florida as it is in Maine.
gosh maybe we should have a federal testing and tracing program.

maybe if we had 1 program instead of 50 that might help streamline things.

its too bad no one has been screaming about that for 8 months but oh well, nothing you can do I guess.
