He has no control on whether or not he's kept. I'm sure he knows he did a poor job but you don't openly admit that.

Well he could have said something about growing as a team or how he feels being here.. He straight up said "that's no my job, I wouldn't fire myself anyway"

Put Uncle Al in the Front office, he'll be the team ambassador for when we have a fan event or go to some school. Then we can dust him off for draft lottery nights to be in the room for the Lakers picks

Gentry was a lame duck all season. Everybody knew he would be gone and they would do a huge search. I like Gentry's attitude on it. He did the best he could and was left dangling all season. Guy is set for life and people love him around the league. Now he can pick what he wants to do next or take a break. No reason to shite on the guy now..
