Looks like Tulane will replace Grambling in Mobile to open South Alabama's new football stadium on Sept 12th

South Alabama will return to Tulane in 2023 and 2026. Tulane was scheduled to visit Mobile in 2025

Good for Tulane and South Alabama. The smaller programs always bitch but never help each other out. It just makes sense for G5’s in close proximity to play each other

Just read about this... will be called Hancock Whitney Stadium. Interesting as I thought their two biggest markets were LA and MS. Looks like a nice stadium... 25K capacity.

First of all, I’m glad to see this happen. I hope all goes well.
But man, it’s strange to see Tulane where they are now. I remember 50 years ago+ they played in an 80,000 seat stadium and had health attendance. Now, 25-30,000 seat stadiums and struggle to fill them.

Eh. This is a great year to play the away leg since nobody's going to be at the games to begin with.

The program's status is currently in the middling range (50s to 80s). If they can stay there and steal a good season here and there it will be a good place for them.

Tulane now has an 11 game schedule (8 conference + 3 nonconf). Hearing they might also add Southern Miss.
