He was playing horse from across the court at my gym against some staff. Asked him if he wanted to play pick up but he politely said he can’t risk catching the kung flu at the moment.
I also asked what the hell he was doing in Houston and he said “just hanging out.” He’s been spotted in Houston various times in the past as well. I’ve heard anywhere from his sister in law being a doctor here to the large Jewish community in Houston having something to do with his multiple visits. Anybody here know why he comes from time to time?
Anyway, he’s easily one of my favorite actors so that was really cool to be able to meet him and actually talk with the guy. He was super nice. Hopefully he comes back to the gym again.

I heard he’s a really rich dude who can go anywhere he wants, and probably has friends and relatives all over the country, just like the rest of us.
But you should have checked his knucks for disrespecting you when you just wanted to play a friendly game or pickup.

by most accounts he's a really down to earth and approachable celeb.

As much as I hate most of his movies, Sandler is well known as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. He takes care of his friends and family and apparently is one hell of a tipper (like 400% tips). Good at remembering names too.
