Is this the thread where we blame it on being woke while ignoring Disney+ subs, an equally if not more woke platform, are up to 100+ million?

Disney + isn't equally woke. Do they have diversity from time to time that is unnecessary or doesn't make sense to story? Yes. But, they are not kneeling in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or PJ Mask or putting BLM on the characters costumes.

Yes up 100M but that is from 0.

What's up with politards posting pics of Hello Games devs? This is like the 6th thread I've seen a picture of them.

We beefing with England or something? I'm genuinely confused.

FWIW, Disney stock is up about 9% on the day right now. Around a $10 increase per share.

I don't have to watch that. If you want to watch any sport you have to get the Woke.

I agree with you that cord cutting is a bigger portion than politics, but have you seen discovery’s programming? It’s nothing but reality tv shows now with an occasional documentary.

Let’s wait until that year subscription deal ends

It was a great offer

I love a nice "shite on ESPN" thread as much as the next baw, but wouldn't the most likely reason for this simply be cord cutters who never really watched sports to begin with? They had a sub because it was on their cable package, now they don't.

I cut the cord, but I always have a streaming service that contains ESPN. Do I count as a sub? Does that factor into these numbers?

Disney announced earnings of 8 cents a share, where expected to lose 64 cents share. Over 100 MM subscribers to Disney+

Not sure if serious.

You can only watch live programming on ESPN too.

I read their earnings 10-Q and I can't find where they discuss ESPN specific subs. They break out Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, but not traditional ESPN packages as far as I can tell.

It's because of cord-cutting

Not going to lie, I feel dumb as hell using the term woke in any serious sentence. I believe I've hit my quota for the day.

That being said, ESPN+ has a quality library and live sports eventually.

My point was blaming it on their politics is lazy considering they're holding up better than some of their peers.
