Who had injuries stop them from being considered in the “best of all time” tier?
Like for example, Marco Reus had the potential to be one of the best German players of all time. Has the pace of a winger, the technical ability of a number 10, and the finishing of a top striker. He’s also a set piece legend. Constant injuries held him back though. Who else is/ was similar?

Would've been cool to see how Abou Diaby did.

Ronaldo is clearly #1. He had a chance to be GOAT but-for his knee injury
Kaka is #2 in modern times, imho

As an arsenal fan I think about ramsey, diaby, wilshere, and RVP.
All of them struggled with injuries at Arsenal and could have been difference makers in certain seasons.
shite, we probably were in the CL this season with a healthy Ramsey last year.

The circle of Anderson:
Have monstrous game, get injured, get fat as shite, return and play awfully while working back to fitness, have monstrous game, get injured, get fat as shite

One of my "what-if" players is Djibril Cissé. Dude broke both legs in separate incidents in his mid 20s and still had a noteworthy and decent-to-good career.
