Count me in.

Got 5lbs of the fruity pebble flavor in my pantry now. Mixed with milk, it’s glorious.

Yeah mixed with water it’s good, not great. Cocoa flavor is probably better.

I’ll have to try them out. That’s one of the few brands I haven’t tried.

I really like the Quest cinnamon crunch for my oatmeal and the GNC AMP cookies and cream for my protein/coffee shakes

I'm going to have to try this. Its hard for me to find protein powder than isn't chocolate flavored that doesn't make me want to gag. I tried the biotest strawberry, and it tasted like stomach acid.

iso100 shouldn't frick with your stomach, people with digestive issues usually have to go with an isolate

Fruity pebbles is delicious. Cocoa is ok.

Top Amazon review of ISO 100:

I went to pharmacy school, worked in pharmacy for 15 years, got tired of counting by 5 and then moved into biotech and oncology for another 20 years. For me, most supplements are marketing fantasy + zero verifiable science + no FDA approval + "case reports" which = BS.

There are recent data from 2015 for protein supplementation being worthwhile in both aerobic and anaerobic power in weightlifting in Sports Med. 2015 Jan;45(1):111-31. doi: 10.1007/s40279-014-0242-2 to name just one credible source. Bottom line is that protein supplementation while actively weight training likely helps build strength and when combined with proper diet and exercise can increase strength and decrease body fat.

That being said, I had tried about 6 other whey protein supplements and they all caused various levels of GI distress including gas, bloating, diarrhea and general abdominal discomfort. I did a lot of research on protein and talked to several of the competitive bodybuilders at my gym, one of whom has a PhD in biochemistry and is an active cancer researcher at a nationally known cancer center and the other a nationally known bodybuilder. Remarkably, both told me that most of the GI upset in whey protein arises (pun intended) from the high levels of lactose in those products and they each recommended Dymatize iso 100 because it was lactose free and both had used it personally with no adverse GI events. I know, I'm falling into "case report" territory.

Based on this combination of scientific and empiric data, I tried the Dymatize Iso-100 whey protein and in my case (N=1), it had no adverse GI events after three x 3 pound containers consumed.

Despite my natural skepticism concerning supplements in general, I believe I have finally found a whey protein that has minimal to no adverse events and has assisted me in in losing body fat and gaining muscle. That latter observation is based on the highly scientific method I utilized that relies on unprompted and unsolicited positive comments about my 60 year old physique from about 10 active weight lifters at the gym.

Bottom line is that I think this product works, it has minimal adverse events, it tastes OK (vanilla and chocolate are decent), it mixes easily in a shaker bottle and it provides me with my low calorie goal of 35gm of protein a day.

Is my sarcasm detector not registering for this review? By the way didn't Dymatize get caught amino spiking their products a few years ago?
