I disagree with Trump on a lot of things. He’s handled this like a clown.

all while he turns around and suggests tighter restrictions to governors.

The coronavirus task force led by Pence is who is recommending restrictions

He is in a no win situation, how many times has Fauci & the CDC changed their stance?

We can all pretend JBE is doing something by closing bars but as long as he allows a certain demographic to abuse all rules & recommendations nothing will change

Saturday there was a reception hall that had well over 50 people in the parking lot, looked like a wedding, no telling how many inside
There are gas station get togethers & block parties but the small business owners are the ones getting punished

Because Trump has had a hair trigger letting people go, especially if he thinks his base isn’t happy with said people

I much prefer picking up food and eating it at my house over eating at a restaurant. The virus forcing restaurants to up their takeout game has been awesome. Now, I understand they're struggling and need indoor dining and I hope we can give them that soon, but I'm loving the curbside takeout.

I get that. Truly do.

But would you support him wantonly removing Fauci at this point just because it's a good "optic" move?

In that case, we'll probably see the woman from Plandemic as the next stooge.

I was mostly just being dick, but that's good. There is a huge chunk of the poli board that will just type MELT at you if you say anything negative about Trump.

I agree with this......

We all fight so much when it comes to opinions regarding Covid-19 as it pertains to how bad it really is. I think it’s a warning and wake up call. What happens when we are hit by a virus or etc that can’t be debated?! We are entering into a new era; bioterrorism is a a real and emerging threat. If anything Covid has shown us how vulnerable most countries are to it. For every resource that has gone into Covid research, we should be doubling it for future threats.

I should have said more states.

Problem is there is little political benefit to do so.

If you keep restrictions in place, you can claim a win either way.

Open up and have a set back? You're screwed.

Leaving you with not rolling back and succeed. Well, you aren't getting punished for not opening up, so why take the risk is how they see it.

Again, I ask, why the hell is anything to do with this damn virus an "All or nothing" approach? Is it impossible to manage hotspots without shutting entire states or entire industries in a state down?

No nuance whatsoever.

i know alot hate the stimulus checks and packages, but there's gonna need to be at least one more after this second one, downvote away.

they are taking away livelihoods here, the least they can do is try to supplement months and years of work with one or two or three time $1,200 checks for food, money, rent to stay afloat

The recommendations from two weeks ago did exactly that

No one liked those.
