I'll always give credit where credit is due. Edwards made the right decision by waiting to see if his newly-implemented restrictions would have a positive effect before implementing additional restrictions.

Christina Stephens, a spokeswoman for Edwards, said the governor received the recommendations to roll back indoor dining just days after announcing the mask mandate and bar closure. Edwards wants to see if those moves will make an impact on coronavirus trends before issuing new restrictions, she said

This just goes to show you that JBE is doing a great job in balancing tough decisions. This should shut up those who think he has an agenda and wants to keep us closed down. He had every opportunity to roll back restrictions based on federal guidance but chose not to. Thankfully, he has what many of our citizens lack, common sense.

If it weren’t for JBE and the frickin’ libs we’d be totally open. That and their queer mask rules.

You're giving JBE too much credit. It's more likely he's just doing the opposite of what the white house recommends because of political deferences.

And likely our state’s hospitals would be collapsing.

If JBE does this someone needs to ask him for the data that shows that indoor dining has promoted community spread of the virus more than other public settings. It won't happen but they need to

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask the White House since they're the ones making the recommendation?

Not ready to claim that yet. He’s fricked up plenty.

Trump has been garbage throughout this though.

Or JBE knows that there is a super majority in the state that opposes him, along with an AG that doesn't approve of his mask order. So in order to maintain the idea that he still has all the power, he takes a middle ground approach.

JBE may be a Dem, but I don't think the has gone off the deep end with TDS.

1031 exchange is just one part of this. Dems are trying to eliminate the middle class with some of their plans. It's unreal. Life will go back to normal after the election, book it.
